Hello everyone and welcome to the latest installment of the Weekly Contests!  This week's game is going to be Target: Renegade.  Here are the rules:


  • Play until Game Over
  • No looping the game.  If you beat the game, pause as soon as the game starts back up.  You may not play any part of a second loop.  If you do, your score will be disqualified.
  • You are allowed to use the extra life you get after you beat stage 1
  • Take your picture on the High Score screen (be quick it doesn't stay up long) or let the game start over, pause the game right away, and your score will be in the High Score spot.
  • Highest score wins
  • Participation : 4000 points
  • GENRE: Beat ‘Em Up


The contest ends Sunday, 7/2/17 at 11 PM NA time.  Your user name MUST be written or typed on a piece of paper and be in the picture for your score to be valid.  The entire TV screen, or computer monitor if you are playing on an emulator, MUST be in the picture for the score to be valid.  No partial screenshots will be considered or accepted.  No screenshots by hitting "print screen" on a computer will be allowed.  You must take a picture of your computer monitor.  There may be instances where this will be acceptable, but it will be at the discretion of myself and the contest organizers.  Also, the use of turbo controllers is forbidden, as well as any cheat codes, Game Genies, slow motion functions, or save states if playing on an emulator.  Also, we will only be using NTSC systems for the contests.  The use of PAL systems will NOT be allowed.  Good luck everyone and have fun

I will try to get a half decent score up by tonight, but I feel Michael will have this one in the bag.

So close, yet too damn far.  
I spent most of yesterday trying to squeeze as many points as I could. This is the best I can do. Hopefully it will be good for a top 3.  
Minor improvement. Hoping to get to 35K before Sunday ends.
Blessed be Odin's beard for I being able to drink, because it is getting tough to get more points.
Yay, improvement. Yay, bashing bad people faces while drunk! Yay!
This is a decent start.  
I think I can get another 4K, 5K points more as the week progress.

It's certainly no Double Dragon 2, but it's playable. I've played worse.

Oh, certainly! It quite playable.
Bad Street Brawler is far, far worse than this, and I have played much worse too.

I've played this game one time, and that was on Jimtendos PSP while working. Guess I'll have to dedicate some time to this one and take a break from BOTW!😝

The game does have some MST3K type charm to it,but yeah it's overall not very good.

I like how the game tells you that Tiny's weakness  is his stomach when you are clearly hitting him in the nuts. Hmmm....that reeks of a SuperJim sketch....

It definitely has it's charm.
It is quite enjoyable to play, despite it being short.
