I'm off work in an hour and a half. Really hoping the tournament games get announced so I have a reason to NOT play Times of Lore!

I've been playing Marble Madness. I just got a 172k score with zero deaths.

I'll be compulsively playing this until the tournament games are announced.

I'm playing... The Jungle Book. May as well play a reasonably tough game to ramp myself up! ;P

I also tried Trog again today. Even with both continues I only made it stage 24 or something like that. For me it's incredibly difficult. I don't know how everyone did so well for the contest.

I'm interested in joining the weekly contest but I can't find the threads with each week/game to play and post scores.
Also, it seems the weeks are over and a tournament just started... Am I out? Maybe I can join next year, if that's the case. I'm new in NintedoAge and I'm a bit lost...

Yes, regular season is over and end of season tournament is in full swing.  Next year (January) should open back up for all players, old and new!

 

The weekly contests for 2017 are over and our year-end tournament just started, but things will pick back up in February 2018 (late November through January is the "off-season" for the contests where we plan things out for the next year).  Here's a link to the overall rules (it's the 2017 leaderboard, but the general rules stay the same year-in and year-out):
