I havent seen Wave 2 at any walmarts either... Idk if they didnt get them in, or what... all of my local Walmarts have increased shelf space for Infinity, and Skylanders though... added 3 new endcaps... Why cant Amiibos get this kind of treatment?

Mine was cancelled as well. It was for 2 Pits that I had snuck in yesterday morning. Im not completely shocked, but has hoping it would hold. What was everyone elses for?

As for Rosalinas, Target sold out within two hours.

Good thing I didn't exactly trust Target and preordered Rosalina from Play Asia before she was ever up for sale on Target. If I get a Rosalina at retail, the Jap one will stay sealed or possible trade bait.

Yeah I've heard of carton damage from others who ordered from Best Buy. Fortunately my preorders for King Dedede and Meta Knight were made in store, to be picked up at launch.

Even working here, I do not trust pickup in store for preorders.  We almost always end up cancelling some and never get enough to cover.  Especially LE games

Nice list, well made! Maybe you could highlight in red text the short stock Wave 1 & 2 Amiibos. Currently Marth, Villager, Mii Fit Trainer, Diddy Kong, and Little Mac. I have no idea what the status is on Pit and Captain Falcon, or any of the wave 3 Amiibos yet. Only Wave 2 Amiibos I've seen in stores so far are Luigi and Zelda.

Diddy Kong is on my wishlist, but I don't have any desirable Amiibos for trade.



Like everyone else, I'll take my chances. Were any of your figures damaged, or just the cartons? IMO a damaged carton is perfectly acceptable for someone who just wants to open them and play.

none of our cartons were damaged at all. Some of the figs just had minor dings on the out cardboard from being tossed around.  Some on the floor are beat to shit cause the isiots that work in our gaming departments just shove them haphazardly out there forecefully and dont care if they get hurt

Lucky! I walked into my local Target Sunday morning (Dec 12th). They had the new pegs out for Mac, Zelda, and Diddy. I inquired about Zelda and Diddy. Guy went into the back and walked out with Zelda in hand. He told me neither of the local Targets (Shreveport, Bossier) had any but the Target in Monroe 100 miles away had 4 Diddies. They're probably long gone by now...

Ya knkw, everyone keeps asking about trading for pit or captain falcon, but those 2 aren't even available yet. The only ones on ebay are Japanese or austrailian. I'm sure if we just wait patiently, they'll arrive sooner or later.

Lots of targets are starting to show Capt. Falcon available in store. Lots of people reporting getting him on the East Coast today and there were photos of Pit on the West Coast yesterday.
