What's the switch for?

Hi gang,

I just picked up this prototype for WCW. It's not in hand yet, but I'm just curious what the switch on the board might be for? I dont want to flip it without knowing what it does.

If I had to guess, perhaps switching mirroring?

That is a good guess. Especially for a socketed cart. I have seen others that did weirder things. For example the Nolans had one with two different games on it. The switch flipped between games.
