I paid $800. And no it isn't complete. About 85% of the way done is all. I'm thinking someone had a repro made and this is it.

Yeah I was kind of unsure of what he meant by "Not a Prototype", so It probably is a repro, in which case I could care less about it And $800 for the real deal... I'm sure it's probably worth that, but damn!

It hasn't yet. Portnoyd's cart is in the process of getting dumped but the rom isn't going to be released right away or maybe never. There's no way it could have already been dumped and sold as a repro come to think about it. Perhaps this is the rumored 5th cart floating around out there.

I haven't heard back from the seller yet so who knows, this might be a fake auction. Guess we'll see.

Why would he not want to release the dump I wonder? I have a CopyNES, and so does Dain now (as soon as he finds a computer that works with it, nudge, nudge ) so you could have yours dumped if the other never surfaces.

I finally got a response from the seller, it IS a reproduction. He said a prototype crossed his path 4 1/2 years ago and he had a repro made at that time.

I got a response tonight as well. I also asked how complete the game was, and he said that he played it for about 2 hours and it was fully complete up to that point...so that won't help much in comparing it to the Airball protos....

The only one that claims his to be completely finished is portnoyd. Does anyone know who had it before him?
