I always thought that too. But yeah its the original Nintendo cause of its shape and the way the games go in/eject out.

Maybe I'm just overthinking this, but shouldn't it be called "Nintendo systems award"? That list looks to be a combination of Nintendo Consoles (NES / SNES / N64 / etc.) and Nintendo Handhelds (GB / GBA / DS / etc.)
