Man, I have been anxiously awaiting for this gem to be released on XBLA. It keeps being pushed back bit by bit, but I am sure it will be worth the wait. Anyone else excited?

Bionic Commando has always been good...but the Japanese version for Famicom is the best and one of the most controversial Famicom games ever released - also one of the most expensive - one of the only famicom games that I can think of that's actually worth more than it's NES counterpart

I just don't really see the point of doing a remake of a classic game like that. We love them for their original 8-bit beauty. It's like remaking Sgt. Peppers.

Wow, if I had an Xbox I would be looking forward to this. But I couldn't justify spending $300 just to play bionic commando.

At first I thought you were talking about that new 3D version that's coming out. It looks TERRIBLE.
This looks quite good, though.

I'd love to have it for one! That looks awesome. Although you can never replace or out-do the 8 bit, I think it would be cool to see more games get a face-lift like this.

There's so much they can do with the grapple in games. Quake2 CTF was the funnest game I've ever played all because of the grapple hehe

I think that even if you're a Bionic Commando purist (is there such a thing?), you'll still really enjoy it.

I haven't gotten too far into it yet, but so far the level layouts, enemy positions and such all seem to be identical to the original. You can do a couple things with the claw that you couldn't before, like grabbing and throwing barrels and I've heard the Albatross at the end is a gigantic level now. For ten bucks, you can't really go wrong.

Wow this game rules. Seriously its PERFECT (well not perfect but pretty much 100% accurate to the original or it's an improvement) the albatros is hard. And I can confirm "he" is back. Now just to beat the albatros.

Yeah I am really enjoying the game thus far. The environment looks great and it really stays true to the original BC gameplay. The game itself is quite challenging, I having a feeling it just takes time to get use to the movements and controls. If anyone wants to do some co-op in the future, let me know. Gamertag: Stealth1984
