I saw the wii games with some other games on a gaming tower shelf.  Not much.  I asked how much.  He said offer.  I said I dont know, what are you looking to get.  He said why not you just grab a hand ful.  I awkwardly asked if he wanted like a dollar a game.  He asked if that was what I was offering.  He then said he did not have a change, and I said I didn't either but I did have 4 dollars.  I just grabbed animal crossing cib and wii fit, which was missing, so then I walked back and got wii sports instead.

The PS2 memory card was free so then I felt obligated to buy one of the games, xbox games were $3 each, and I'm glad I did it was a $14 game.

This lady had a mario edition dsi $35, black dsi $25, blue? dsi $25, maybe 10 crappy ds games.  I asked how much the ds games were and picked these out, roughly 1/2 off retail.  I just wanted to look at the $40 vita.  This guy awkwardly came into the garage and mentioned he'd already been there.  I knew right away he was a reseller.

This is where the story gets great.  I kinda figured he was looking this shit up on his phone and came back.  He said he was doing a second sweep.  I saw him eyeing the vita I was looking at and I started to smile.  I pretended to be interested and was going all over the box.  The lady told me it was missin the power cord.  The dsi's would not turn on , this would not turn on.  I'm not messing with it.  Finally I set it back down and he goes over to it and asks about.

THEN... very awkwardly, and she did not hear him the first time, said something along the lines of this "Well I called gamestop and they said they would give me $_ _ for it but it has to be model # _ _.  So then she helped him find the model number and I picked up the two ds games for $3 each.

The dreamcast/ps1 lot came from the thrift store.  They were put into two seperate bags and one of them even had a faith hill cd and some other useless crap.  All Sports.  The top row of games is either missing game, case, or broken.  Allot of the games looked pretty scuff, maybe poorly buffed.  Allot of the cases are broken.  Those and the wii game the total was $10.  -->

$20 -->

$8.50 -->

...And then, this in the mail for $300

I don't know how good that is, either, but I'm willing to bet you got a decent deal. I've never ran into people on Craigslist that still had the boxes to their games. Impressive. The receipt is win.

I personally NEVER see a boxed NES Advantage anywhere. It's always an NES Max or the Action Set. Good little find you have there, though.

From what I see it's not incredible or anything but you didn't overpay. Still a lot of cool, fun stuff there though, and I could be missing something valuable. Ex: Not really sure what the going rate on boxed zappers or NES Advantages is.

Hey I think you did alright, and for the 4 things you peddled to recoup some losses that was $160 (minus fees) so that's a good bite out of it. The stuff looks in pretty good shape, shame there's no manuals but those boxes don't look wrecked.

Actually yeah that's a good point... I guess I'm letting the fact that they're commons get in the way of the fact that CIB pretty much anything should fetch at least $20 on ebay. So yeah with that considered you did pretty well. Then again they're missing manuals so I dunno... I could still see most of them going for $20 even sans-manual though.

Yeahhh I'm hoping to eventually come across some manuals or maybe get a good deal on some on ebay, but overall the boxes are in pretty good condition so they're staying on the bookshelf.

After shipping costs and ebay fees, I paid $135 for 14 games, the zapper, and the advantage pad.

I sold the system for 105 with shipping, duck hut for 30, tecmo super bowl for 30, and nfl power play for 10. Had I known nfl power play would have sold for only 10$ I would have kept it

I saw an ad on craigslist for 6 NES games CIB with a complete NES system CIB for 125$. I looked at the pics and noticed the guy had copy and pasted them all from sold ebay auctions. I sent him an email saying I could do 100$ (as I didn't know the condition). No response, two days later the post was bumped and he lowered his price to 95$. I sent him two emails saying I can meet him the next day and I can pay cash. Sooo he gets me his number, we talk a bit, he tells me hes got some loose catridges and manuals and I said I was interested in those too. He also told me he had 6 brand new Asteroid games for Atari that he would sell for 10$ so I said I would do that too (I didn't realize they don't have shrink wrap).

These are the games and the system he originally posted for 95$

I know it's not worth much but I was most happy with Castlequest; it came with a detailed map. The map is barely held together, I'm not sure if I should, but I reallly would like to put a couple pieces of scotch tape on it to keep it from ripping in half.

Everything looks pretty good. All these games were complete and include inserts, half of them have posters, and The Magic of Scheherazade included the map as well as its inserts.

I also got these

Drakkhen and Batman are empty boxes but Drakkhen is one of my favorite games so I was glad to have that.

I paid 160$ altogether.

Picked this up for $19 from local used CD store (another two sleeves not in photo)

Picked up Wii Sports and Zelda Collector's Edition promotional disc for 3$ each from good will.  Zelda is really scratched up and is missing the manual, haven't had time to test it

Responded to a craigslist ad and bought this lot for 110

Except for the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the mega drive (which I can't seem find much information about online), all the games have manuals. Not only do all the games have manuals, but I'd say roughly 2/3 of the games came with manuals and inserts, and roughly 2/3 of the games that have inserts not only have inserts, but include posters and other inserts. The guy who sold it to me that it was his neighbors and was stored in their garage which caught on fire or something like that (I have a bad habit of not listening to people). Anyways, it seems from being stored in a damp enviroment with so many inserts pushing against the manuals, it has caused the manuals to bulge a bit, bending. Likkkkee where the small black clips hold the manual, all the posters were placed behind the manual otherwise they would shake around inside the box, and pressure was put on the manual where the clips are and has caused the manuals to warp

Sonic and knuckles was the only really damaged game, I couldn't slide the cardboard out but I opened the top flap and could see the game and some inserts.

I don't have a tv so I use my receiver and lcd monitor. The X'Eye seems to work on my receiver without any lag so now I can play my sega games so I'm pretty glad about that.

I went yard sailing today. I've been having pretty good luck with that. It takes allot of looking though. Last week I got Super Mario World, Mortal Kombat for SNES, and 2 other common SNES games for $1.25. I've also been going to the thrift stores almost every day. I normally hit up 6 stores in 3 hours. I've been finding mostly playstation stuff so I haven't been posting that.

Hopefully tomorrow goes even better than today. I got this stuff from 2 yard sales (I probably went to 15). Also, I paid 66$ for everything.

Also, not in the photo (I forgot, and I'm not taking out the camera again!) are 4 ps1 memory cards (3 of them are playstation brand, 2 grey and 1 blue), and a CIB sega batter up controller. The lady told me she had allot more game magazines, a sega master system, and I think more games as well. I'm gonna try to head out there again tomorrow.

I have been replacing my cases with these

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/...

They are a tad bit flimsy compared to the original PS1 cases but they are completely identical and even have the compact disc logo on the inside.

Roughly 70 cents a case and they make the games look brand new.

The multiple disc cases though, I'd have to have to find cheap PS1 games to swap them out.

I have been consistently finding games for some time now. This past week was a pretty good one and heres some of the stuff I got. I have been terribly lazy and I feel guilty for I have not been posting all my finds, even decent ones.

Today the lady and I went to probably about 10 yard sales or so until I came across a box of Sega games. I casually looked around a bit more, went over to the box, and asked how much they were. $4.00 for the following.

Top row are case and manual only. Second row is game and case only. Third row is complete. A few solid titles and I needed a better Tecmo Super Bowl case so I'll be swapping those out. No video cable for the system. Controller is pretty unique but I don't think I'll be using it.

Almost forgot, also got these from the same guy.

Wrestling game is case only.

This one, I had looked through the games which are kept in the case. After that I was waiting in line to buy a couple books and the saw the back of the open case. I looked at the Gamecube I decided not to look at and noticed the bottom of it, which had a gameboy player. I asked if I could see it and it also had a 271 block memory card. It was priced at $25. Using my language skills, and being a cheap as-hole, I asked, already knowing, if they had the cables for it. She called the guy up and he looked on the other side of the store for it and said he was sorry. I said I could buy the cables online and asked if he would mark it down for me. 2$. No gameboy player disc : /

I took a break from video game hunting for about a month. I almost always find something worth buying, but normally its not that good. I thought about reselling as a part time job. I watched a reselling video that explained you either have to get there as soon as the place opens, find out when they work their stock and show up then, or show up right before they close. It was monday and I was out the door at 8:40 a.m. and reached Goodwill at 9. Absolutely nothing. There were a few of their carts out but nothing was in them.

I went to the other thrift store (area only place) just down the street. They put their consoles in bags and price them at $50. I think they realized no one was buying the crappy PS1's (priced at $50...), so they lowered their price to $35, and it just so happens I got the following N64 lot for that price.

The yellow controller was in a different part of the store, marked at $3. Obviousely it was all donated together, but for watever reason they seperated it, so I picked that up to. The N64 console has the original jumper pak inside of it. I also picked up the Cat in the Hat and the Dora game for PS1, not the best price but I'm sure they are pretty uncommon. The games, all of which I like to refer to as 'solid titles'.

While waiting in line to pay, I see two guys look at all the bagged consoles, and they picked up a Dreamcast for $20 which I had passed on. I got this lot with literally 10 minutes to spare. I hate to say it but it didn't make me very happy.

I picked up Mafia 2 for $4 from another goodwill.

I'm so happy with the color controllers! Other than the atomic purple, these are my first. The green one is my new play controller : )

I forgot! Another little side story. A couple days after I got the previous lot, me and the lady hit up the Goodwill by her parents after visiting (30 min before they close). I was looking through the PC games. Price charting seems be a bit off but I was looking at a couple when an employee comes up next to us, says excuse me, and puts on the shelf Sonic & Knuckles and Pokemon Stadium, priced at $3 each. I looked at her "Helllll yeah." They also had a rumble pak and transfer pak (probably from the same donation) for $3 each. I passed on a PS1 box, no console, but had the cords and 3 controllers for $25.
