Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

KnoxVegas, TN. I am the only collector I know in the state of TN. Although DreamTR will be moving to the state in March I think. Not sure if the state can handle 2 Jason's, and 2 collections of this size, the start may explode and bleed orange all over the surronding states.

Hillsborough, North Cackalacky (for anyone not from the south, that's North Carolina
Population: 5,446.
Named after the Earl of Hillsborough, the British secretary of state for the colonies (NOT because of them thar hills!)

My town was once recognized as the capital of North Carolina (colonial), prior to Raleigh. I'm originally from Denver, Colorado, which is why you won't hear an accent if you ever speak with me

My mantra, as worded by SamSpade on 06/12/12:
I don't resell to fund my collection, I don't treat this hobby like a second job, I don't care if my collection is worth ten bucks or ten thousand because I never plan on selling it. Seriously, what does the value have to do with anything if you never plan on selling? Speculation doesn't mean jack shit to me at this point, I just want to play my nes games...

I think this is true. Isn't it nice having a monopoly on the biggest source of Camerica carts in North America?

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

The only collector I've ever met up with is Neal Slagle (thepepsibum) who lives in Delaware. I don't know of any other collector who lives near me. Though I'm not opposed to a road trip.

Nick, I'm in Pottstown PA about 30 north of Philly. I'm going to "Too Many Games" con in Reading April 15th. ClassicGamingLaboratoys will probably be there, and Parpunk was at the last one...not sure about anyone else in the area. There's some guys over at nesworld that are closeby. Admission is free, donations requested but not required.

We moved from Prince George when I was 3...although I didn't really watch hockey until I was 6...think it was a combination of spiting the locals and the 'Nucks having the coolest logo back then. Whatever got me started with them, I've been a fan for as long as I can remember.
