Someone should really try to mess up a cheap sealed game to get a game graded 5 .

I'm sure we could get it down to 0. Who has a spare Dance Aerobics to test the waters?

All you'd have to do is crush a game with a hammer so that the seal somehow manages to go all the way around the top flap and the bottom showing that the flap was never actually opened, and stab holes in it as well. But yeah, I've been wanting to test this out as well

I think someone needs some glasses .  It appears to have water damage front and back?  Man, I don't think I'd even have bothered to get this one graded.  I'll be really interested to see what it goes for.

does anyone know why this game has the VGA label on the side instead of on the top displayed prominently? I dont know much about VGA but all the other standard sized cases I have seen had the vga label above the game.

I'm pretty sure it's just a chosen preference where you get the grade displayed.

I'm not familiar with the VGA rating system. What is the best and what is the worst? If it's easier, does someone have a link to an article explaining it?

I wish this was cheaper.. I'd love a crappy, sealed, graded game for my crappy collection..

Maybe I need to find a bad sealed game just to get graded..

Basically $25 + shipping both ways.  Well worth it if you own a sealed game, cuz it included the case, and the grading.

That's not bad at all.  If I ever come in to ownership of a sealed game, I would certainly consider sending it in.  I really like those cases.  They seem almost bulletproof.

It doesn't look "bad" but doesn't the price he is asking assume some type of premium for a very low grade. Wouldn't you be better off buying an ungraded example that wasn't damaged?

I have a sealed Terminator (original) NES game that I got from Mike Pitsch when he sold out.  I bought like 100 sealed games from him and he threw this one in for only $40 or something since it's normally $100+.  Anyways it is truly sealed but it's beat up and the plastic is all messed up.  This would be the game for you Paul.  It's been sitting on a shelf for about 3 years since I don't know what to do with it.

I wonder what the most damage one could do to a game and still have it qualify as sealed would be.

My guess is take a hypo and inject india ink under the wrap through corner pokes, then use the flat end of a meat tenderizer on the corners, sides, top and bottom. If that doesn't get a big ZERO, I don't know what would...

I don't know man, a 40 is awfully terrible. I have no idea why the guy bothered with that crap.

Hmmm.. I have a PAL A sealed Zelda II: Link's Awakening that I want to get graded. It's not in as great condition as I had hoped it would be when I bought it, but I think it might be worth while (although if it received a grade of 40, I'd feel like it wasn't worth it!!!).
