Good morning, so last night late I was playing Spyhunter...with a Game Genie set with the code for infinite continues/lives. I must have played for a minimum of 30-45 minutes solid just working through the game. This friggin' game just wouldn't end?!

Is there an actual ending to this game???? Am I missing something?

Any ideas????

Spy Hunter was first in the arcades, may I remind you. Being an early arcade title, it really only goes on until you run out of lives. With Game Genie means forever.

Spy Hunter seeming has no end, just playing for score. Super Spy Hunter does have an end though, game kicks ass too, great graphics and effects, cool soundtrack, good control, lots of variety in challenges. I enjoy both of these games though.

I've heard that Spy Hunter has no end and that it just loops over, but I'm not 100% sure because I haven't played it that much.

Oh believe me, I know it was an arcade game. I stuffed many a quarter into Spyhunter games when I was a kid. But even arcade games have an ending....well, most of them I suppose......

Hey now, finishing a game with infinite lives isn't really beating the game. Where I come from folks call that cheating
If you want the true sense of accomplishment beating a NES game can give, you gotta do it legit.
No codes / cheats !

I made the same conclusion. It might be used for pts contests among a group of friends. But once it starts all over you might say you beaten the game.
