Very nice pickup, but a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, as they say. It's not wise to advertise a deal like this when the product is still in the sellers hands, lest some shady character decides to spring into action. I know it's an a-hole thing for anyone to do, but it happens. Just some words of advise.

-------------------------

My mantra, as worded by SamSpade on 06/12/12:
I don't resell to fund my collection, I don't treat this hobby like a second job, I don't care if my collection is worth ten bucks or ten thousand because I never plan on selling it. Seriously, what does the value have to do with anything if you never plan on selling? Speculation doesn't mean jack shit to me at this point, I just want to play my nes games...

Hate to burst your bubble man, but it's actually missing a couple pieces...but the tray is a bitch to land. Also a US box. $50 isn't a bad price...isn't great, but isn't bad.

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

Thanks Morbis, I'll keep that in mind next time. I've just been looking for this box for so long, I got a little too excited.

What is missing wizard? It looks like the only thing not in the tray is the hands, and they are on the ROB.

Extremely nice find! A sincere congratulations!

Don't worry about the pieces, as those are easy to find. Having the box and tray are the hard parts. And I couldn't agree more with Dr. Morbis about waiting until you physically have it in your hands -- anyone who's been around for a while has been victim of this at least once, and I realize how hard it is *not* to tell someone when you're excited. But you've got to until it shows up. When I won that Rodland for 10 Euro, I couldn't even sit still! I just had to bite my lips for about a month (it came from Spain) -- that was a LONG month

Sorry NGD. It's also my most wanted item. Once it arrives, if you want, I'll sell you my other tray though so all you need is the box

Morbis you have me so nervous now. If someone steals this deal I'm going to scream.

So they are. That's what I didn't see. Nevermind then

Thank you very much! I think I'm going to be safe from thieves. I have a delivery confirmation number from the seller, and they said they were going to ship first thing this morning. *keeping my fingers crossed*

Is there anyway I can talk you out of this? I lost sleep over this one last night. How about a test cart and 100 bucks? Over 300 worth of stuff, pretty good profit. Interested. . . . .

I'm sorry man. This is my first BIG find, and I'm so excited just to get it in the mail. Maybe if the newness of it wears off after a while I will be willing to work something out, I doubt it, but you know, keep your hopes up buddy

So, my package arrived here in Akron on Saturday, and I wasn't home when they tried to deliver it. I had to wait until this morning to go pick it up. As soon as I got into my truck I opened it up and saw that everything was in great shape. However, when I got back to my apartment, NGD was waiting in the bushes and he jumped out, hit me over the head with a hammer, and ran off with my Gyromite. How dare he! Now that's a new low in "auction theft!" I was able to snap a few pictures of it before he ran off.

Yeah, I was surprised at how nice it is. It was quite dusty when it arrived, but once I wiped it down it was as glossy as any box I've seen, well, almost.

Are you trying to make me cry? That is a beautiful copy and a great score for sure. I planned my theft wrong, I was planning to be there tomorrow to steal it from you but miss timed the arrival date I will just have to add this to the list of stuff to steal. Dain already has a few items on that list including his car.

If you do get tired of it let me know, I will pay you good money for it.

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

Thank you very much. I just like to stare at it! I know it's nothing compared to the pictures of all of the sealed stuff people have been posting, but I'm in love, lmao! It's my first "big" find.

I tried, it won't let me. Every time I post it, it shows up as it's own topic.
