Very nice score!

Thanks! I actually got to the 3rd form of the final boss but had no life and was hit by the purple bones or whatever it is he throws. This was just me playing through pretty much.

I've heard Tom doesn't use a controller to play,he uses his mind to bend the game to his will.
Tom does not beat games. He just stares at the screen until they admit defeat.

Tom beats games before they are even beta tested. He has also beaten Cheetahmen 2 without a game genie and also completed the minus world in SMB. It doesn't loop....for him. Tom also beat Jesus in a head to head matchup playing a NWC cart.

Yet Crabmaster beat him at TMNT II

That's what he led you to believe. Rule # 1: Tom always wins Rule # 2: See rule # 1.

God damn guys, you dishearten me. I saw the scores for TMNT II and said, forget this, back to Neverwinter.

You guys give me too much credit. I don't use my mind to beat the games. They just see my face and show me the ending.

All kidding aside, if the first round was any indication, this is going to be a really competitive tournament. Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with this week!

I heard a buddy of his was playing Battletoads while talking to Tom on the phone. Tom beat the game for him.

Thank you for the grace, Kevin, but I'm cool with complying with the new rules for Round 2.
Once again, I do appreciate the gesture, sir.

OK, I'm gonna break with my personal tradition and post an early score. This is my first attempt and playing NG II blind (I'd only played the first until now). I just want to see how much I can manage to improve after a few nights of practice. Not much point racking going on here either.

EDIT: Updated, final score.

Tier 3 - 290,400

Started playing through this game today for the first time in a while. I have a lot more experience with Ninja Gaiden II than TMNT II so I think I can finish strong again. The updated rules are totally fair. Point racking can be tedious but I'm glad I don't have to worry about hitting traffic signs into all the ham-and-eggers this week!

I've found a few really good ones that will loop my score before the end of stage 5, but there's no sense in telling your  competition

I thought I found a few until I read this. I'm done for today. I've already gotten killed three times by getting cheaply knocked into pits and I'm about ready to throw my controller at the TV.

I know that feel, bro. I got to LVL 4-2 with a score of 300K, an then I died, but I'll see if I can do better tomorrow.

Maybe I've been watching the WWF/WWE for too long, but I was also thinking that the possibility of a swerve might exist. Bimmy's original post says "I will remove one game from the list, leaving three games left Sunday afternoon.  At 9:30 PM NA time on Sunday evening, I will reveal which game we will play". All it really says is that three games from the list will be left. It doesn't say that the one he will reveal has to be one of those three...

That's what I'm thinking! He'll have the top 3 there and he'll announce that we'll be playing Barbie.
