Technically according to instructions, several bids are not valid. Not trying to make an issue, just saying.

Don't worry MRN, you can always come visit and play my copy ;-)

Yo James,

What number you get?

Why #1 of course!

I offered Miau the option for #1 or #2 and he let me have #1 since I'm handling the carts and it didn't matter to much to him what # he got. So yeah, lucky me and no, it's not for sale!

Also, I would ask you three not to dump the rom as this isn't supposed to be released or shared with anyone outside of the beta team or cart owners and I wouldn't want this to take away from Miau's project since this is his homebrew and it's still in development. Thanks in advance for understanding.

If anyone is LOOKING for certain repro/homebrews, I have a running repro company thread going as well as a lot of extras myself which include Limited Editions as well.  I'm also free to help answer questions and point people in the right direction so never hesitate to ask!  Here is the current list of repro companies.  Please let me know if I need to update it:

I just spent $195 so hell no I ain't dumping this thing. Everyone is just going to have to wait while I play my Super Bat Puncher on actual hardware(Powerpak's don't count). I also like that my $195 went to a community I'm involved in so hopefully miau gets motivation from these prices to work on the game.

BTW, these will all ship on Tuesday. Monday is labor day and the post office is closed. As long as I receive payment by Tuesday they will go out! Thanks for the great bids guys and Miau is thrilled that there is going to be hundreds donated to the forums. Just so you know, Memblers is working on a new mapper and this will help provide NES.DEV the funds to get that project finished. Miau has a blog about this:

I spoke with Kreese about this because I had the same problem. You have to write an introduction post and then a admin will approve you and then you can view the auction. Sorry for not clarifying. I will post the forum link shortly...

From Kreese:

"Before you get access to the site, you need to write an introduction of yourself at this section:

http://www.nesdb.se/forum/viewfor...

The admin will then approve you, and then you'll be able to post messages in the other sections."

I hope that helps. I would recommend that anyone interested in bidding should set up a user Id and post TONIGHT so the admins can approve you in time to bid on the auction. Good luck guys!!!

To the creator of this auction. Some constructive critisism for next time (im not mad or upset, this thought came to me while at work today).

Maybe to ease up on the bid confusion, make 3 seperate threads? That, or make it a rule that a bid doesnt count unless they specify WHICH item they are bidding on. Example; This auction has 3 items, lets just say NA1 bids on item one for 30 dollars, NA2 Bids on item 2 for 35, and NA3 bids on the last item for 45. NA4 (these are pretend names!) wants to bid on item one, so his post would look like this.

NA4
Item #1: 31

this would work if someone wanted to bid on two items at once.

NA3
Item #1: 32
Item #3: 50

Just a thought

I think it ran ok. Ran just like a dutch auction would on ebay. Kinda like the cluster fuck aspect eventhough I lost
Kinda surprised these went as high as they did for a demo.

Then again, I'm not usually interested in demos myself, but this game looks to be turning out sweet.

I appreciate the constructive feedback. I think there were three clear winners in the end as far as I'm concerned so I don't think it was too much of a problem but I will definitely take all of your suggestions into consideration for the next auction. If someone has clear proof of a bid being incorrect to the rules stated in the auction please bring it to my attention ASAP but as far as I'm concerned, the three winners I listed are the winners.

Thanks for everything and we now have a good deal of money for NA!!!
