I did not understand how people keep getting really high scores in this game i was running out of time.But i got it down now Score updated!!416,000 I'm going to buy this game on payday i know its cheap but i have to save.

Not enough time spent on this one to play with the big boys this week!

I figured out level 1 really well (was getting 330-340K in that level alone) but just not enough attempts to figure out the next stage.  Never lasted the whole 5 minutes, probably not even close! 

I just got home about 20 minutes ago but my wife and I had a bit of a heated argument over house responsibilities and her lack of. I tried to play Starship Hector,but I'm just too irritated right now and for the score I'd need I have to have a level head and lots of patience neither of which I have much of right now.

Not that anyone cares,but I figured I'd let everyone know a little bit of what's been going on since you're all my friends,even if just online ones.

I feel ya dude. I am competitive, though my scores in the contests don't show it. I always have 100 things that I am needed to do with my family, work, business, whatever. I've posted a score every week though and will continue to do so. "Responsibility sucks"... haha. You're a good competitor.  Someday, I'll best you in a game... someday!

I just realized I didn't post a score yet,so here's a quick post.

Curious as to what yours and cdbblw's scores were after the first stage on these runs. I believe I had 372k on my run. I had another run where I was at 384k but royally screwed that one up. I think if that run had panned out it may have been the winning one.

Sorry man, but we have to disqualify your score.  All usernames should be written or typed on a piece of paper as opposed to being typed out on a tablet, computer screen, etc.  We've had some issues with this in the past, so the rules is enforced pretty strictly.  Here's the reference in the rules:

- In order to submit a score for the contest, take a picture of your score with your user name written or typed on a piece of paper, which must be present in the picture. Your user name MUST be in the picture or the score will be invalid.

I don't remember what I had exactly but it was in the high 300,000 range.

Were you spamming the mines right before the boss? Easy 2k a piece there.
