Has anybody here watched Fedor Emelianenko? I was just notified about him yesterday and this dudes striking ability and moves on the ground are quite nice. I guess Dana White is trying to get this dude badly after his contract is up with Affliction, so he can immeadiately set up a Brock vs Fedor match.

^ Fedor is for sure the man...I've been following him for a few years, and every fight I've seen he impresses me. I feel he has no weak points in his game.

I liked Hendo's entrance too, he came out to "Red Rider-Lunatic Fringe" no fireworks, the lights didn't go out he just walked out and knocked out Bisping. Awesome.

I was out of town for UFC 100, so I didn't get to discuss it much with you guys, but I wanted to give this thread a bump in honor of DREAM.10 tonight. If any of you guys get HdNet, you should check it out the card is quite good.

I was really impressed with Zaromskis and Kikuno at this event, I definitely didn't see Zaromskis taking the GP.

I'm not a big fan of Aoki the striker. Obviously his strategy was fairly sound, but I'd much rather watch him put on a submission clinic. It sounds like he'll be rematching Joachim Hansen again next. Looking forward to that.

I'm also glad to see that Filho looks to be rededicating himself to fighting. It was pretty sad to see him fall off like he did a while back. His new tattoos are retarded.

Totally done. It looks like they signed a promotional deal with the UFC.

Mousasi has expressed interest in the UFC. I would love to see him in the octagon!

I would also like to see Mousasi in the UFC, my guess is that no one is gonna touch Barnett so he will be headed back to Japan, Vitor will be back in the UFC very soon, who knows what Fdor is gonna do I highly doubt he will sign with the UFC but stranger things have happened. Also Im going with Big Country for the next season of TUF.

I'm slowly falling in love with the idea of the rumored Franklin/Henderson II fight being broken apart in favor of the UFC resigning Tito and Vitor to fight those two guys.

So is there an official word on the Fedor fight? I've been hearing Bobby Lashly as a replacement...any truth to that?

Affliction has officially given up on fight promotion and is now a UFC sponsor.  As to what is going to happen to their roster, we're still waiting on that...

All the blogs today are reporting that Fedor's management wants to again resume talks with the UFC. I'm sure it'll go about as well this time as it has the last few go rounds, but Fedor is running out of places to fight in the US. Strikeforce probably wouldn't put up enough money, so my bet would be that he ends up back in Japan fighting for DREAM.

I hear Lorenzo will be doing the negotiating with Fedors management this time and not Dana, Lorenzo has said that he would allow Fedor to compete in sambo tournaments as long as they were so many days out from any fights

From what I heard, that's no longer the issue. I guess it has less to do with Sambo and more to with M-1 management. All of the Affliction shows were partnered with M-1, and M-1 would like to do the same with the UFC. Not going to happen. It would be nice to see him in the UFC, but I'm not holding my breath.

Some online betting sites have odds on Fedor Vs. Lesnar. No, not the who will win the fight, but whether or not they'll fight before October 2010!

I just found this quote from Fedor's management:

"Fedor and I are here in the states. If they want to come out and fly here, we are ready to conduct negotiations. Of course, it still doesn't imply we are ready to accept any conditions they'll throw at us. We want to talk to the UFC about having Fedor compete against some of their fighters, but only within the framework of co-promotional efforts with M-1 Global."

Exactly.  The UFC is in the business of making money, not in giving free press to rival promotions.  I'd love to see Fedor in the UFC as much as the next guy, but why would the UFC ever want to co-promote?

What do you guys think about Kimbo Slice on TUF? All I know is it would be awesome to one day see Brock and Kimbo rumble. As it stands now, Brock would easily man handle him.. but still it would be a great spectical the likes we havent seen in the US since the old days when mullets rubled with Sumos.

I'm pretty excited to see how he does...like most of the world I was a fan of the old youtube videos. I'm curious to see how his training has come along since he lost to that gay guy. The guys strength alone will keep him in some fights. I don't think he will win, but he won't look unconfortable in the ring anymore.
