All domains are available for these generic suggestions.
Power Up Pub (poweruppub.com)
Vintage Game Collectors (vintagegamecollectors.com)
Vintage Games Forum (vintagegamesforum.com)
All Things Gaming (atgforum.com)
All Games Network (AllGamesNetwork.com)
I'm not saying that they are great. They are generic, the domains are short and available and mostly get the point across. I also have no clue how you plan on expanding the site, but I suggest keeping general areas separate, but sub-domains, but all part of one integrated site for easy cross-region posts and searches.
Also, is this going to be something like NA where there's an extensive database of game data? Also, if you can setup a really good wiki for cataloging/storing photos of games, boards, manual, boxes, variants, hardware, whatever, that would be huge. In my casual observation, this stuff does exist but sites like that either focus on narrow information, or they are to a specific console/game studio. One wiki to rule them all would be unbelievable.
Also, since you're competing with GoCollect and a lot of us trade... you could create a good cataloging system and try to build out a similar GVN system, pulling data from eBay. Integrate a smart matching "for trade" system where people post want lists and for trade lists and you match up traders and you could have a real winner.
Oh, and make sure that any given thread can have more than 5,000 posts before it croaks.
