I started Legend of the Dragoon like two days ago. The voice acting is atrocious and the translation is terrible; like, it's about as bad as FFII SNES. XD The rest of the game is decent so far, though. Only up to after you talk to King Albert the very first time with Lavitz and co. I've never actually beaten the game, but I accidentally got a major spoiler today by Googling one of the characters' voice actors, ffs.
I enjoyed that game years ago. I doubt it holds up as well today. I like the timing/addition system, although, admittedly I wound up grinding my way to the stupid $$$ accessory that makes additions automatic.
One thing I really didn't like about that game is that characters not in your main party do not gain exp with you. You have to choose right away when you get a new character if you want them in your main party otherwise they might as well not exist. I wound up with Dart/Albert/Rose in my first time through the game, thouse I switched up Rose with Hashel the second time around. Another thing I did not like that was really annoying, was swapping the disks out of the playstation every time you wanted to revisit a town.
As for me, I started playing Wonder Boy 5 on Megadrive and Breath of the Wild, finally. I also plug away at Golf Story and Mario 64 with my daughter every now and again.
