The best Telltale games to start out on are Back to the Future and Tales of the borderlands. I'm working on borderlands and debating getting the dlc for the but they're still 9.99 after all these years. Working on secret of mana now.

Beat Until Dawn tonight. It was alright.

Playing Bayonetta and watching Lego Batman currently.

I think I'll look into the TellTale Batman game since it's on Switch. Big Batman fan and my wife was more interested in Until Dawn than I was. And, yeah... my wife and daughter both love Batman.

Sweet Home. Great concept but so many things that are just there to hassle the player. Grinding, permadeath, no way to heal, inventory hell, managing 5 characters that can only group up 3 at a time. You gotta cut me some slack or this all gets in the way of the fun.

XD The rest of the game is decent so far, though. Only up to after you talk to King Albert the very first time with Lavitz and co. I've never actually beaten the game, but I accidentally got a major spoiler today by Googling one of the characters' voice actors, ffs.

I enjoyed that game years ago. I doubt it holds up as well today. I like the timing/addition system, although, admittedly I wound up grinding my way to the stupid $$$ accessory that makes additions automatic.

One thing I really didn't like about that game is that characters not in your main party do not gain exp with you. You have to choose right away when you get a new character if you want them in your main party otherwise they might as well not exist. I wound up with Dart/Albert/Rose in my first time through the game, thouse I switched up Rose with Hashel the second time around. Another thing I did not like that was really annoying, was swapping the disks out of the playstation every time you wanted to revisit a town.

As for me, I started playing Wonder Boy 5 on Megadrive and Breath of the Wild, finally. I also plug away at Golf Story and Mario 64 with my daughter every now and again.

Trying to beat Galactic Attack without cheating (4 credits). Even with the cheat (8 credits) I can barely beat it. Lots of grinding to do, the last boss is killing off every good run I have.

Just got notice that my Super Game Boy 2 came in from Japan, so that's what I'll be playing tonight for sure! I'm thinking I'll start with some Zelda.

I just started Chapter 6 in Xenoblade 2 last night. Played for like 4 hours yesterday and starting to get into it more (37 hours in lol).

Not sure why Xenoblade games always seem to take so long to pick up steam. I don't think I'll be able to finish it before Ni No Kuni 2 comes out later this month though.

Beat Galactic Attack. Great, beautiful game.
Beat Layer Section II/Raystorm. Kind of a disaster compared to the first. Didn't like this one at all, but I guess I'm a 2D snob.

Returned back to I am Setuna on Switch since I hadn't played it but maybe 30mins when i first got it. Dunno if its just me or its kind feels kinda thrown together and I'm wanting to like it but the longer I played the more bored I felt. ...maybe I've lost my flavour for rpgs after all... *shrugs*

Tyranny on PC. It's pretty interesting so far, though I still feel like despite the "evil" nature of the theme (you're supposed to be playing a bad guy, basically) I'm still being pushed towards playing like a good guy. I'm hoping that will change and I can be a bit more devious throughout the story.

I actually beat Metroid for the first time this week, instead of just running around dying wondering where the heck to go which is how all my previous times playing the game went. My map is full of mistakes caused both by confusion and how hard it is to map and fight simultaneously, but it got me to Mother Brain!
