I don't feel like I missed out on any console games. I was able to play the ones I wanted. Might not of owned all the games, but I was able to rent or borrow them.
There are a few PC games I missed out on originally, Daggerfall and Fallout 1 and 2.

Another vote for The Guardian Legend. I distinctly remember poring over that one in the rental store and yet I always picked something else. As a adult, I picked up a cheap copy of the game and then still didn't play it right away. I'm glad I eventually got around to beating the game. I realized that would probably have been a much better rental than whatever I ended up with.

All the cool Famicom exclusives. Even though only a handful of people in this hemisphere played them at the time, we missed out on some cool games.

A friend of mine either had or rented The Guardian Legend back in the day, and we played it over a weekend. The music stuck with me but either he didn't tell me the name or I forgot, but it wasn't until years later that I came across the music in a playthrough video and thinking, "Oh that was THAT game!"

The Mega Man games. I think if I had played them as a kid I'd be better that them now. I'm so bad at Mega Man.

A lot. Most of my list is SNES games. A Link to the Past would definitely be number one, Earthbound and Super Mario World would be pretty high up too.
