I think more people sign up for NA due to Fix It Felix Jr. than for any other reason .

I'm sure there is, unfortunately I've lost the source code to it, so I can't really do any troubleshooting or fixing :/
 

Haha nah. Though I'm sure it's helped over the years, I don't see a high demand for this game anymore since repro makers are all about it (I get a handful of emails a week about some copy they bought off of someone at an expo or flea market.

I'm partly to blame here. A lot of people come here from my Youtube channel, which I promoted gameplay of all versions of the game to the final version you see today. I love doing this for any homebrewer, to help promote their work.

People do read and follow the description on how to get the rom, but I still get a few posts and comments that they followed and signed up, but couldn't find the download link. haha Hopefully everyone will see stardust4ever's post so hopefully that'll help.

To anyone from the outside: Please read the description on my Youtube and the first post here carefully, and leave no word unread. Also use the search function that's built into your browser (CTRL+F). Also, if you come here, please join for the love of the site and community, and not just for the rom.

To any admins here: If I'm bringing in too much usless traffic (like people are only coming here for Fix it Felix and nothing else), PM me and I'll cease and delete any info linking to this site and try and find another source for everyone to upload.

@dra600n: Sorry to hear you lost the source. On my Super Retro Trio, once or twice I noticed the text bubble at the intro hidden behind the foreground. This glitch doesn't seem to affect my model 1 Genesis.

That's a strange one for sure. I'm almost positive I have the source somewhere, at least the most recent with bug fixes, but I can't find it (only the non-tmss glitched version), and I can't be bothered to spent time on 3 year old source code (maybe 2 year old) as it would be a nightmare going through that code now lol
 

Stardust: For what it's worth, I do feel that it's okay to have more people on the site, but not if they're gonna just doing it for 1 download and not contributing in any way. But, who knows, they may like what they see and become a member?

dra600n: Yeah you had some time with that code iicr. Still darn good work IMO.

Unrelated (sorta), but the game's on Ebay right now, but the interesting thing is that they actually took the game and made their own "Fix-it Felix" title but in the Russian text.

lol, why the sad face? It's inevitable since the roms been released, people would go as far as to hack some graphics and text. So I would go to say that this is a fan-translation? 



 

Maybe Adam feels differently, but that looks like high praise, to me.

 

A local guy bought that Russian Repro and a few other sega repro hacks and was bragging them up to me. I had to let him down easy that Felix was stolen and the others are just hacks. People are being fooled by those ebay auctions.

Yeah, hack the game to make it look more authentic, ie like a Far East or Soviet bootleg release. Somehow I'm glad that my copy came straight from Dra600n himself.

Here's my thoughts on it: I released the ROM knowing that repro makers would have a field day with it, as well as anyone else who wanted to play it. I am flattered that the Russians translated it to their native language, as someone had to think the game was worthy enough to ROM hack, so more or less along those lines.

Who made this? Is it complete? I did a Google search for Fix It Felix Jr NES and this thread popped up. Most links were related to the Genesis version.
