Hey guys, here's a little something I've been working on for a while now. It's a small video series on the developmental history of The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time.

This first part covers the very early stages of Zelda and some of the changes it went through. Hope you all enjoy this first part!

Just a quick heads up, I'm pretty sure N64DD disks are a mix of magnetic and optical. Or to make a comparison, the format was basically a proprietary zip disk.

Other than that, this is a very nice documentary. I hope you sourced your information properly, I'd love to save all these and show them to friends. Any chance you'll stitch together the documentary and torrent the complete video?

I have sources for almost every claim, but if it's just speculation I make it clear. Sadly while I was finishing up this part I was having major issues with adobe and I wasn't able to properly add credits. I plan to add proper credits and sources in the final part. Thanks!

Awesome, excellent to hear. I'd want to look through the sources once they're added. Again I ask, will you make a complete version of this documentary available? 3 separate parts is a bit unwieldly for local viewing. In fact, I noticed YouTube has an option to extend your account to upload longer videos, all you need is a cellphone number for validation. I don't have one nor can I easily get ahold of one, so I wouldn't be able to do that.

That was great to watch. Very informative. I learned a few facts (rumors?) that I had never heard before. Miyamoto had some really outlandish ideas for OoT...

Keep it up! I look forward to the next one.

Sure, that could be very easily done actually. I didn't really think there would be any demand for the raw parts merged, but if anyone would like that I could definitely do it even if it's just for one person.

I do have an extended account where I can upload longer videos, but I though It would be best to split this up into parts as I was working I had a feeling that this video could possibly extend to almost an hour since there's a lot of information beyond this.

Thanks! But almost everything that I don't say is speculation is an actual fact with a official Nintendo source to back it up!

I wouldn't mind upwards of 1 hour as long as it doesn't drone on and become boring. I think one video for the entire documentary would be fine.

Very nice video, learning a lot that I didn't know. Can't wait for the other part(s).

I sure would love it if a prototype of OoT was found. That to me is the ultimate holy grail of gaming .

You're quite mistaken. The true ultimate holy grail of gaming would be as much beta material and prototypes from the N64 and N64DD we can get our hands on.

Holy crap that was awesome! I learnt a lot. Perhaps in a future part you will talk about the different glitches and theories? Such as the hoaxed "how to get the triforce" and getting into the sky temple.

Very well done, I did know about 85% of the video and have seen all the screens and videos before but this is only because I've been looking up stuff about the game since 2003, and had done so vigorously especially in 04 and 05 and followed fan sites then. That being said, this video would save anyone, months and months of looking up Zelda OOT Beta stuff. Also, are you going to discuss the beta items that can be found in gameshark codes? Look for an old website called Odyssey of Hyrule and this website is also a good resource http://www.jaytheham.com/zc/ootbe... . Your video was very well made too, I understand the hard work that goes into editing, voice overs, writing, etc.
