i would be pissed if i lost because i didnt get as many random blue balls as the winner. seriously. if it would have been decided by more points than the blue balls can potentialy give, thats ok.

It's fine though. Again I have to thank Gloves,Bea,and Swift. Without Swift raising the bar and Gloves and Bea not looking into the scoring variance,we almost assuredly wouldn't have gotten these scores. 

Sometime soon I want to try to get the million and no death it through three loops. I know I can do it. Have gotten close a few times. For now though I'll try to play catch up in Double Dragon 2.

Absolutely. Between Marble Madness and this, we are seeing some serious skill being displayed here.
It is beautiful. The glitch to get such high score is very difficult to pull off.

That's quite impressive, Greg. I am so bad at this game, which drives me nuts because I enjoy playing it so much. It's like any other Konami game, really.

Man I wish I would've had more time to put up more than just a participation score this week. Those 1 mil+ scores are most impressive though!

Long way to go. And you are the grinder so you can catch up.

And who knows, maybe I am not a complete failure at one of the next shoters and push him down to fourth in one of them.

I'm actually not too familiar with the remaining shooters,save for Defender 2 since it pretty much plays like the first one. Played a lot of that one at the arcade and on the 2600. Was okay at it.

It's awesome to see you guys put some crazy scores. Do any of you record your gameplay and put it online (like YouTube)? I'd like to think that if I had more practice at Life Force, I could put up a much better score.  

One other thing I'll add that I didn't see anywhere else. Do you guys know about the extra life power up in stage 1? It's hidden in one of the 'bomb' / brain-looking things about 2/3 of the way from the bottom of the screen before you have to shoot your way through the regenerating crap.

I also thought it was really cool how everyone solved the point bonus mystery. I had noted that my scores would vary quite a bit some times and performance did not seem to be the indicator (# of enemies killed). Nice job on figuring that out!

I am disappointed I was not able to post participation this week. Not looking forward to next week's game either. It is going to be a looooong year.

There's also one at the end of the stage, in the last regenerating wall, if you go through it near the ground you'll get it, BUT, for a high score it is better to get the 5k placed symetrically at the top (can't get both)
