@ MuNKeY : Well, I'll make some more random black case labels then... and easy to find homebrew roms for too, for reproing.

@ coinheaven : Dude, that'll be sweet! I tried hacking NES Open, and got no where cuz the tiles are too messed up.

Here's the basic screen concept I made:

It's okay don't feel ashamed, all it is is just a graphical hack of the original Zelda games using the Gameboy/Gameboy color sprites. There's not too much info nor a Youtube vid, but coinheaven sells the repro:

There's more than just Zelda, he made Metroid, SMB 1 and 2j, and Wrecking Crew all have graphical upgrades. Ive been meaning to put these on real hardware for a while now.

Interesting... I didn't know about SMB2j, Metroid and Wrecking Crew... I've only seen the Zelda and SMB 1. I tried patching SMB2j with the SMB1 pocket edition hack, which worked for the most part, but some tiles were wonky since SMB2j and SMB1's art tiles aren't exactly 1:1... But I'll have to look into Metroid and Wrecking Crew and add some more repros. :3

Haha nice. Mighty Max was the best. I remember the one episode where Max and Norman got sucked into that VR game and Virgil had to play. That was rad. XD So out of character for him.

^ I remember that episode. xD It was when they were defeating Cyberskull and Max and Norman where pulling Vigil away and he was like "No, I was achieving proficiency!" or something like that. Awesome show. They don't make em like they used to. LOL

Also, I made a "black box" version too, but I only changed Samus since the pocket version I had only had her sprites edited anyways. (Is there a better version? This hack alone was difficult to find!) Oh well, there is significant changes to the original, so I'll post it:
