Glad to see that after almost a decade my contests are still going strong.. Props to Bimmy and Guillavoie for keeping that shit alive... Hope you fellas have been doing well.

Nice seeing you around man! We will never forget that these contest started as Nesruler's weekly contest! You should drop in more often, you're always more than welcome.

Thanks for the nice words, that's greatly appreciated. Also, Bea has been of great help since she retired of the competition, remember that she was playing quite early on. There's also Brock that made a nice archival work of the contest (and runs his own monthly SNES contests), Commander Santa that ran a news update for a few years, Superjimtendo that draws comics and funny stuff mostly Kickle themed (and will start his own Kickle weekly corner  this very year), and a bunch of other great fellows that helped with many aspects of the contest (sorry, can't name everyone by heart). So yes, definitely, your contest has been on a long ride, and is still going.

We had a drop in participation last year, but we're looking forward for a boost in 2019!

Has anyone been playing any of the roster yet at all? I'm kinda bummed at myself for how bad I am at Mario 2, lol

 

 

 

Had the same experience last night. Pretty rusty these days.

SMB2 suuuuux. Not even a real Mario game. 

I been playing abadox for about ten minute stunts. I can’t figure out the weapon system lol.

You didn’t read that correctly. I said “it’s the only good Mario game” meaning I like the best of the trilogy. 😳🤯👉👌

 

NOPE. You see there is no trilogy. It’s odd I know. Let me explain. There is SMB and it’s sequel titled “SMB 3”. SMB 2 is a separate game entirely, having nothing to do with the other two games. 

 

I get what you’re sayin’. Problem is you’re wrong. That’s the bs “they” want you to believe.
 

It matters not, wrong or right. As iron sharpens iron so does one man sharpen another. I thank you for your teachings dear Richard Head. 

Yet the truth still adheres. The game you love as SMB2 is just a reskin with a popular title.

 

It's a reskin but its a Shigeru Miyamoto game no matter how you slice it. That's what always made it authentic to me

Guys, all the mainline Mario games are great games. Don't see why this is up for debate.
