Hello all!

I've recently started up my collection to the dismay and frustration of my wife and loved ones. I sold all my consoles and games when I moved out of home about 10 years ago and really, really regret it. I had all the castlevania games up till that point except for draculas curse ( Castlevania 3) which by miracle, I picked up at a op shop for $2 Australian ( game only ) about 2 weeks ago. All my Zeldas and final fantasys, marios, mortal kombat ect ect I'm really missing. I started back up 2 months ago and I've already manage to score 2 N64 consoles(one from a tip shop for 3 bucks and works like a treat), a NES for $12, a SNES for $15 and a Gamecube ( just the console itself) for $3 in perfect nick. The problem with me is that I'm like the old man ( who's like monk off tv) I'm compusive obsessive and I have to have the set. I picked up 11 nes games in the last 2 weeks for 2 bucks a game but they're only the cartridge, so if anyone can point me in the right track as to where I can go about purchasing the manuals and boxes, I would be greatfull. I've had a look on Ebay but no offense to NTSC or Americans ( considering the old mans half) I prefer pal but will consider manuals or boxes from the States / Canada. I don't get a lot of time to actually play games considering I have a 2 year old and a 7 month old but I suppse like the rest of you I enjoy it and it brings back better or happier days as a kid ( God I miss Captain N). I'm really keen on tracking down a box and manual for Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Legend of Zelda and Castlevania 3. Basically I've joined this site because I want to complete my game collection which will never stop I suppose, and to meet others like me who enjoy video games. Peace to all!

So in other words you want the PAL carts, but the NTSC packaging is fine? Guess you don't care as long as it's at least partly in English eh? One thing to make a note of though is that some games were only made for NTSC, and some were only made for PAL, so there's many games outside the PAL regions that you've likely never played. Could always emulate them though And welcome to the site man

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

Thanks again all. To answer a few comments yes I will buy manuals and boxes even if they're NTSC. Yes I realise that some games didn't make it to pal but did to NTSC and vice versa. A good example for me recently was Baten Kaitos Origins for the Gamecube. It made it on the NTSC but not the PAl, so I had my Wii chipped to play NTSC games both gamecube and Wii. I've even been told that some members here sell the foam for the NES boxes and yes I'm interested in purchasing them as well. At the moment though I'm really, really interested in tracking down the boxes and manuals for the legend of zelda, mike tysons punch out and castlevania 3. Thanks again!
