Just out of curiosity, once the auction ends how long do we have to pay you? In fact, now that I mention it, you might want to add that somewhere

Good point.  I will give 3 days for payment.   i will also add that to the original post.  if anyone who is currently a high bidder has an issue with that time frame, please PM me.

This game is so obviously fake. The guy running this auction is a total hack.

(I hate having to post this disclaimer but I probably should. Boot is my friend and he knows I'm being sarcastic.)

Thanks for writing. I apologize for the delay in responding to your email during this busy time of year.
In regard to your email, it is great to hear that you have found a copy of Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64. Perfect dark was a first person shooter game that was released in May of 2000. I personally enjoyed this game a lot during my mid-teen years since it allows for up to four players to play at one time. All the Perfect Dark cartridges were black.

I hope this information is what you are looking for.

Response I received from Nintendo customer support when I asked if they knew any thing about a black Perfect Dark cart.

If anyone wonders where one of the first edition carts went, hit this guy up.  if he sells it, i'll have to shoot him in the knee.

Well see, I have the much rarer first run. There are only five of them! That means it's worth twice the highest bid of this auction, right?

If I win this "NA" edition (even though I think this is the normal edition since there are more "NA" editions then "normal" editions) anyway, if I win this NA edition its just gonna drive me to fucking insanity when I realise it is bassicly impossible to get the "normal" edition DX if you ever decide to sell the one you have then pm me

The auction includes cart only, shipping will be free in the US via bubble mailer, ifyou live outside ofthe US or would like a different method of shipment

Did you know... in Australia we pronounce it "Djankey Kang" sorta like Django.

If anyone is LOOKING for certain repro/homebrews, I have a running repro company thread going as well as a lot of extras myself which include Limited Editions as well.  I'm also free to help answer questions and point people in the right direction so never hesitate to ask!  Here is the current list of repro companies.  Please let me know if I need to update it:

I was wondering about you.

-------------------------

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at the Let's Play Gaming Expo last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Oh, my WTB thread is very popular. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, Richard craniums - they all adore it. They think it's a righteous thread.
I'd also like to add that I've got my father's gun and a *scorching* price guide for aftermarket Nintendo games.
Between Dragon Warriors and nothing... I'll take Dragon Warriors - for any of my FT/FS/FO items.

I wish these were numbered in some way... can't decide it I want to bid.

I pondered numbering them, however, if i had numbered them, i wouldn't have included the NA logo.  i think the NA logo was a better choice.

Do you actually have a set time on when this is gonna end, or are you just gonna end it whenever you feel like it?

I have a set time that it's going to end, however, i didnt announce it, to keep people from waiting until the last moment to bid.

I originally was going to offer free shipping in the US via a bubble mailer, but due to the bids raising higher than i expected, i have decidedto ship them for free in the US via flat rate boxes, with tracking and $50 insurance included.  for people who are bidding overseas, or for peole who want extra shipping options, i will figure out a reasonable alternative, and cover partial costs.

So, I'm extremely sorry if I have a hard time believing this will be a limited run only. but the evidence doesn't add up for sure. Not trying to start controversy as I've been following this for awhile hoping it'd pop up for sale. I just honestly want an explination on why the Rom can't be dumped. or the person who made the boards doesn't have the rom file anymore. With a little research and help from a few people, we've compiled this list that concerns us.

Feb 26
"I, being one who is knowledgeable in cars and not NES boards, put out an ad looking for someone to do some minor color work to the existing DK ROM, and dump it onto a chip for me. I was contacted by Proveaux on NA, and we discussed what i wanted. Basically, a blue ape that threw rings. He took the original ideas and ran with it. he ran long and hard. Before he was done, we had an awesome game lined up."

5-7 Comments from people asking for a copy.

Feb 27
"i appriciate all the interest, both in this thread and in PM's , but 4 out ofthe 5 copies have already been spoken for, they are getting shipped out to friends. I'm not looking at having any more made, but I will keep it in mind for the future.

IF i were to have more made (which i certainly am not planning for quite some time, if ever) i would only probably have made up 5-10 more. "

Feb 28
"Nope. My integrity is worth more than money. i said i wouldn't sell, and so im not going to sell. 4 carts are getting put in the mail today. "

Mar 1
"Ok peoples, heres what the whispers are saying. There "may" be a few more carts being made. They "may" be up on an NA auction. They "may" be slightly different than the originals. "if" they are for auction, there won't be enough for everyone. I will post more details as they come to light. "

Mar 6 - johnblueriggs
"If you don't want to make anymore, can you post the rom and label so we can make our own? "

Mar 27
"I'm making ten. They're getting auctioned, and then there will be no more. " "Auction on here. You guys asked for more carts, so I made more for you guys. "

April 25
"the short anser on the ROM? no, it wont be released. The long answer? the ROM died on my now corrupted hard drive, in the computer i tossed in the trash a month ago.

And when Proveaux wrote the original ROM, he set it up so that when it was dumped onto a cart, it could not be pulled off again."

May 1
"If i had a way of making more of these, and making them easily and affordably, i would definitely be mass producing them "
In response to mass production - "No can do. the original ROM's died on my last hard drive. "

Auction thread
"This is your ONLY chance at getting one. There are only a total of 19 of these carts made."
