Now it's $20K on the site. Perhaps all CIB copies have a curse on them or something that turns their owners to the dark side.

I wonder if they would have actually shipped it if someone had purchased it on their site for 6K yesterday. My guess is not.

Actually compared to many games for other systems it isnt as rare as it was 5 years ago. there have been close to a dozen cib stadium events on ebay and 3 sealed copies.  at this point in time i crown air raid for the 2600 the king of rare cib games. one known box. even loose copies are starting to pile up in the who owns thread.

Stadium events complete is still a hard title to find, but there have been a lot show up the last few years. compared to when NA started and less than a few were known.

I saw the boxed Air Raid in person back at that gaming meet-up outside of LA last year or so. For the only copy that exists, it was in surprisingly well-cared for condition. I told the guy to get a case for the thing pronto... he didn't know he could get one.

That certainly looks to be the same copy, but our good friend Phishor still has his other one listed.

I'm sure he just re-listed it with another account to see what will happen, he won't sell it for what the auction ends at unless it is some obscene amount.

^WTF? That's obviously the same VGA75 copy being sold by "feedback", so something is amiss...

Yeah beat me to it.

Not my listing, it is a fraudulent listing, plain and simple. PayPal and eBay have been notified.

On a Similar note, anyone catch the auction from a french Canadian for a loose cart that went for a little over 1k?

I think it's been long enough that it's ok to discuss. I passed, because I couldn't read WTF the auction was saying, and guy had only a few feedback. All the same I though it was probably legit.

^ I saw that and contemplated bidding, but passed on it for the same reasons as you.

Yeah, if there was ever a time to get one cheap, that was it... oh well. Not that 1k is really cheap at all, but for SE it is.

I e-mailed the seller yesterday and asked for pics of the Cheetahmen with his username and todays date. He said he would try to get them to me when he got home. He didn't of course.

The seller doesn't have any of those high ticket items, if you pay you will get your money back eventually, but why bother.

I figured something like that happened here. It seemed a bit fishy to me.

Edit: Yeah, it looks like the manual was definitely taken. You can see the carpet in the background : P
