F you matt.  Hahaha.  Actually, F me, I was on the last leg of a boss level with a score of 196K+ and pathetically fell down a pit I could have easily jumped over.  Didn't press the button at the right time.  Was SO close to breaking 200 and I didn't even increase my position!  I want to get at least 200K for this comp, more gaming tomorrow.  You will suffer at my power.  Just a tip, hold on to those fireballs and blast left and right to find all the hidden eggs.  Once you get those rings you get a lot of points and a 1-up appears now and then, you should be able to nab around 5 lives total (including 0) by around 2/2.

Participating for the first time in a while... finally got a score that didn't embarass me, I should be better at this for the amount of time I've spent playing this through the years but oh well...

Kind of disappointed because I made some stupid mistakes, but hey, I haven't played it in a long time and I was never well-practiced at it anyway. I have this horrible habit of dying at the frogs near the end of 2-3, leaving me weaponless at the beginning of 2-4, which is pretty much a death sentence in my book. Also, I kept missing the 2-3 bonus stage.

So... I kicked ass at a half marathon this morning, and told Master Takahashi that it was his turn to run!  Who knew?  He just wanted me to feel his pain.  That's it for me.  Had a blast!

Nice try Matt, but YOUR SOUL IS MINE.  And some of you other guys too, at least for now.  Basically had a flawless game until I tried to get that hidden pot with the jumping stupid frog.  Not even worth it.  After that gunned it hard and raw until the ice level in stage 4.  That needs some practice, been too long.
