I just want to make it clear that this is not a thread to simply insult the guy but to help prevent people from getting screwed over, as well as to share the stories, past experiences and evidences that lead to his current reputation of today.

Now Drakon has been known around forums for his interesting mods in gaming related pieces which people have been impress by at first, but as the years started passing. Many of us have come to know just what a POS this guy really is and why you should reframe from EVER do business with him.

The guy insults other people's work, whenever you ask him for any kind of help. Help simply tell you to check his price guide on his mods, which is so overpriced that it's insane he ever got customers but I guess that was because he was the only one at the time who offered them at a price. He spends more time using his trusty hot glue gun more than the actual mod work and it's been said that he does this to prevent you from reversing his work or finding out how he did it, which is pretty damn insulting to the customer considering how much they paid for the work as well as sending it out to him in Canada.

His 'high quality' work is no where near the truth or asking price.




He even damaged a customer's Top loader by the name, PhoneDork with his soldering Iron.



Here's a clip of GameTech, a man who provides excellent service in his work taking a look at a Nes modded by Drakon.
The customer originally sent his Nes to get it modded by Drakon but after receiving it. The system wasn't working properly and at this point Drakon was being a dick to the customer to the point that he sent it over to GameTech in hopes he could fix it.

Now for the story of the 2 customers that really ruined Drakon's reputation. It's not too long but if you don't want to read it. Long story short, the customers find massive red flags on their systems after being modded and Drakon claims that it's not his fault.

I've dealt with him personally in messages, ughh. Whenever you asked him where he learn his mods or for assistance when you were doing the mod yourself. He simply tell you to go look it up online with many times directing you to his price guide site.

So I hope I shared enough information in explaining why you shouldn't do business with him. He's rude, he's careless, isn't understanding on the subjects, doesn't make up for his errors, poor work performence and no one should have a pile of hot glue inside their favorite video game console.

I used to frequent his forum and even spoke with him via an IM quite often, but all it ever led to was his superiority. I even confronted him about the hot glue once and he justified it somehow...

I have done some modding myself (nothing I would ever sell or say is professional), and I use some hot glue in moderation. But, holy shit, that is a nightmare.

I sell Mods for many different consoles. rgb included. I would never send out a console looking like that.

That should have been replaced free of charge.  Thats basic work ethic.

Looks like this guy was a member on NA from somewhere between 2010 and 2012, and got banned (don't remember why).

I've been doing console mods this year. Done some for members here on NA. For a guy who had been doing this work for a few years, I doña cleaner job with less than a year of experience.

I have sympathy for those who have been screwed by drakon.

At least he is banned from NA.

I loved this story when it first came out and it's still hilarious to see his recent work. It's idiots like this that make people feel weary about "modders". I do a lot of modding services and would never put out something as disgusting as this. It's hard to tell if the guy is just trolling everyone or has something wrong with his brain.

Also, reupload those images to another host because when that 4chan thread gets deleted after a few days, the links will be dead.

Put him in the HoS.

No comment on Drakon but GameTechUS / Jason gets my highest recommendations. He's a real pro with all things related to modding and he's such a pleasure to work with, even from this afar. I've had him do several mods for me and wouldn't hesitate one second to deal with him again!

I've never heard anyone speak kindly of the guy. He sure got some money out of those transactions.

He has a tendency to post videos of his hacks....then never provides ips patches. A bit of a tease.
