What level of difficulty, and are we playing without or with ricochet of bullets?

Well, we got 4 difficulties:

1-Novice
2-Intermediate (default)
3-Advanced
4-Expert

No ricochet of bullets is default, ricochet of bullets allows the enemies to launch a whole bunch of bullets back at you when they are destroyed.

I'll take any of the above.

im thinking we go with the intermeadiate (dedault), and NO ricochet..

Why not make it Expert with ricochet. That way we don't have to waste an hour+ with each scoring attempt.

Well Josh kinda had the first post so i think im gonna go with him, if you want to let me know why u want the rules the way it is PM me please!

I'm %100 with Dangevin on this one.
That would make a better challenge from the game, and yes, we would save a lot of time for replay.
Since rules are the same for everyone, I think it's a better idea.
C'mon guys, we're doing a contest, we can beat the game at intermediate level whenever we want after.

I would like to suggest one more rule:
No "Configuration Mode" cheat

Yargh, another one I don't have. Man this is frustrating, as well as the fact that I'm anti-emulator.

Gotta get Gun Nac! I love this game, it is a must have, must play. If I wasn't so bogged down with studying for final exams and my pharmacy interview I'd be all over this. Well, maybe I'll try to fit in a couple games...

Anyone have a spare loose cart for sale?

I played for the first time this morning at about 12:30 AM, and was wiped out 45 seconds into level one...I'm also interested in a spare cart...anyone?

Sounds like fun. I better get started early this week.

Here's my first attempt, died at the end of level 1.  Damn Ricochet!

Here is attempt #2.  Made it halfway through Level 3.  DAMN RICOCHET!


This game is actually quite tough and took a ton of practice (stayed up all night) just to get ready for the Expert Mode with Richochet.  This is gonna be a fun week.

Attempt #3; less of a score this time.  I must be getting tired because I only got to Level 2 here.


Coming soon: Attempts #4 & #5.  I've played about 30 games so far, the above scores culled from my best ones.   That ricochet is KILLING me.  I need more practice.  Expect the next two shortly.

Remember when Giant Carrots ruled the Earth?  I was frozen during that time and when I unfroze, well, it just takes some getting used to!


Fire bombs suck.  A lot.
