I guess I will have to give this another try tonight to try to figure out where all the P bonuses are.
Getting anything but all of them pretty much means not getting top 3 this week.

Nice first score. This is probably the second easiest shooter of the year after Defender II. Which means that for me it's still kind of a challenge. But it's probably like the first level of Super Mario Bros for people who can no death Star Force.

Are you going to stream any of your attempts on Twitch?
 

I can stream some if you'd like. IMO it might be kinda boring to watch, the game has like 3 parts that I'd consider tough, and even then I can just spam bombs on them.

Stream it blindfolded then

Never tested it, so now I'm screwed.  Guess I have to piece together a participation score with a keyboard for the first time ever, which sucks because I wanted to clear this game from my backlog

I went full Brasso on it, the final resort.  Board looks fine; no scratches or cuts.  So I'm assuming the ROM is dead or something

Or there was some cold soldering that broke.
I tried to check ebay and amazon for options with next day shipping to see if I could turn this into phase two of my evil plans of evilness, but alas, no such luck.  

 

Yeah I already looked into that. Never seen a copy locally either that I recall. I'll probably double check after work just to be sure since the dude might have overstock. I could always ask acidjaguar too, but I don't think he has any NES

Both of my NES controllers have crapped out. My Nintendo brand has a right directional button that isn't responsive enough and the other is a cheap Hyperkin replacement with a B button that sticks after less than a month of use. I have another Nintendo brand controller coming in the mail that is hopefully better. It's supposed to be refurbished.

Don't buy Hyperkin controllers.

You can replace the rubbers of your Nintendo controller for brand new ones and that ought to fix your problem as well.

My Nintendo pad might just need taken apart and cleaned to fix the responsiveness. I still might try that. I would like to be able to fix these things because they do wear out.

The controller I've ordered claims to be refurbished with new padding, etc. so it should be good. There's also a 90 day warranty.

 

 

I'm pretty sure you just solidified the fact that we should be drinking beers while hanging out playing video games and making heavily sarcastic / jaded comments about anything and everything.
