EDIT: NVM it happens with all of my systems and it is because my fiance turned the volume 3/4 of the way up. Moron moment on my end. Sorry. Lock please.

So i just hooked my Genesis up for the first time in like......geez......... i don't even know if i've ever even played genesis it's been so long. 

It's hooked up via RGB into my XRGB mini, with the little wire that plugs into my Headphone slot of the Model 1 to get stereo sound. Otherwise you just get mono. 

Every time i turn the system on or off, i get this weird pop noise, or almost like white noise for a millisecond making it sound like a pop. Sometimes it doesn't happen but 9/10 it does. 

It happens when  turning both on and off even with the volume turned all the way down on the Model 1. 

NO other system i have does this through the XRGB. 

I am probably just being paranoid, but was curious if this could mean i am doing damage to my TV or the XRGB?
