I'm new to the "industry" side of gaming, but was thrilled that my application to attend E3 this year was approved!  But since the E3 is the E3 and they are uber-strict about admission, I only have 1 pass for myself - no guest passes.  And no friends in the industry to hang with.  Or friends in LA to hang with.
