Homebrew 8 BIT XMAS 2017 development multicart time!

It's alive!  Spent a day getting the LCD-as-label running.  2.8" 320x240 screen updated directly from the NES.  It isn't fast enough for video, so it will only so the label art from whichever of the 9 xmas games you pick.  There is a chance I will try for some animations on it like the falling snow but it would be low frame rate.

The screen data is ~150KB per game, and the biggest xmas game only 128KB

With the added manufacturing cost/time this is probably going to be the first xmas cart that is limited by quantity instead of date....

It will be cheaper than 2008 costs now   Other than that I won't have an idea until the games are running.

I do no own any of these cart's but 9 game's is enough to sell me. Consider me sold, i will set money away now.

Yes!  You can see all the squares around the edges of the board where the LEDs go.  Tho they might have to be less bright so the cart doesn't suck up too much power, and so you don't blind yourself looking at the LCD and LEDs
