Also, for people who vehemently dislike this site so much, they sure do manage to talk about it alot.

He says we banned Tim for two reasons --
1) He has a lot of sealed games and we're jealous.
2) We got salty that Puppywaffles got a free game.
He also calls out a few people by name, moderators included. And goes further by accusing mods of getting in the last word before locking topics.

They basically did zero research into why Tim really got banned.

I thought this shit was over with.......nope.

I'm going back over the original threads to take notes on how they degenerated so fast, how they got locked, and everyone's general reactions to everything. Pat spewed a lot of bull in that video, and a lot of it's just a bunch of circular nonsense intended to make us look like the evil nasty Nintendo jews of the internet.

I stopped after about 7 minutes

- some username drops
- NA mods are drunk with power.
- All we care about is money.

Why was Tim banned?

Can guarantee no matter what we say, Pat's gonna use this thread as proof that we're constantly attacking him behind his back. Goodie.

Tim is not banned, his account will be back open on Thursday of this week should he want to use it.

No one is allowed to call other members assholes/dicks or anything else of that nature. That shouldn't be news to anyone.

Sounds like a communication issue, which is nothing new to forums.

Not sure what directly happened as I'm still a newb to this site, but I'd like to hear the other side of the story or see someone contact Pat to try and set the record straight.

He's clearly not interested in getting the story straight, or he would have looked into what was going on. For them, it's all about finding things to hate each week and spinning the story to get people worked up. YouTube equivalent of shock jocks. 

I can't wait to not watch that video and carry on living my life...

That's a shame. He angrily called out the journalists who reported on the Coleco Chameleon without doing enough research, and lamented that lack of research was the main problem with journalism today. You know... journalistic integrity vs. misleading the masses.

I'll take the opposing view. I agree with the majority of what they said. Especially the mods stirring the pot and not being neutral. Making a negative note and not giving anyone a chance to respond is all true. They did however miss the mark on why Tim was suspended.

I've already expressed those concerns privately and publicly. By and large the moderators are great as is the site.

I would advise no members from this site commenting on that video, anything said is going to be spun negatively against the site as a whole. It is sad that they did not do any research however.

I clicked on the video so that I could read the YouTube comments, in hopes that maybe some of the people watching the video would post in defense of the forum.

Not sure what I expected to see.
