^Yeah,it's tough to predict since you never know who's good at what games plus what surprise gamers are going to come out of the woodwork to compete.
I usually don't play sports games, but I had this one as a kid and always sucked at it cause I didn't know shit how to play. After Toxie's tips and experimenting with the curves and wind speed/direction I finally figured out how to minimize strokes to make par, then it was determination after that to try to make under par. Then ofcourse, your tip on trying for hole-in-one on the 11th helped also. This game isn't easy to play, and it's all about reflexes and figuring out the learning curve. Just like real golf.. practice makes perfect.
It's definitely not an easy game. You have to discern which club is the best to use for each shot based on the wind speed.
The toughest holes for me have been 12 and 13. On my -7 run,I pared both holes. (Missed a birdie putt on 13.)
I need to revise the putting onto the green strategy. If you are close to the green, use the putter. If you have a little distance between you and the green, use the pitching wedge at low power.
If debating between a higher or lower club on a particular shot,in general you'll probably want to go lower as you definitely don't want to go out of bounds .
