The crowd was so pissed. I entertained myself with the tweets. People were seriously leaving, people taking pictures of their walls after they put their fist through it and lots of people were crying. I'm a little upset myself even if its not real. I at least wanted it to be Shawn Michaels. That would have been way more epic then that failure of a match.

It's hard to say that I'm shocked by anything that the WWE does anymore, but that was a total shock. I was watching with a friend that remembered when "the streak" started at Wrestlemania VII when The Undertaker beat Jimmy Snuka 23 years ago when we were 10 years old. The look of disbelief exchanged could have made for a YouTube video. Even for a scripted sport, I was literally at a loss for words after the referee finished the 3 count.

I have to imagine that the WWE had someone else in mind as a first choice to end it. What a horrible choice. On the bright side, the WWE Network worked with flying colors for me through the whole PPV. Had an audio hiccup during the pre-show that seemed to hit everyone, but the show itself held up perfect throughout. This was my first live PPV viewing in probably 12 years.

After the third F-5 I jokingly said "hat trick" to my friend sitting next to me, assuming that The Undertaker would kick out and make another comeback. After the match was over I was thinking the same thing as you. If Shawn Michaels didn't end the streak in the "streak vs. career" match, it shouldn't end. It seems like The Undertaker has said in interviews that he wanted the streak to end, but Vince wouldn't book it since it's basically like the co-main event at Wrestlemania every year. The fact that it did end the way it did, just doesn't make sense to me.

Anyone but Brock Lesnar. ANY ONE!!!!!!!!! It definitely should have been a hall of famer/soon to be hall of famer that ended the streak like Shawn Michaels as other said. I'd have loved for someone from the younger generation to have ended the streak like when he faced Randy Orton a few years ago. Just...... NOT.....BROCK.....LESNAR.

The look of shock that they showed on everybody's faces was unbelievable. I honestly thought the referee botched the count or something. The announcers were silent and both guys in the ring looked like they couldn't believe it. I didn't think they would pull a "Montreal Screwjob" on The Undertaker, but the way it was sold by everyone made it look almost like an accident.

Most fans are upset Taker lost but come on, Taker's time to hang it up was coming.

If the WWE wanted a WTH moment from me tonight, well, they got it from me tonight.

Agreed!  They didn't play Lesnar's music right away, either.  Almost like they had to quickly make up the 21-1 graphic to cover their asses.  I would think with Taker finally losing a match, if he was supposed to lose, he would have had some mic time, too.  I guess not.

I was actually happy he lost - as others have said, Taker had to pass the torch sometime.  As for the rest of 'Mania, I was glad they had Bryan win - I think fans would have rioted if not.

Didn't want to see the streak end that way, but I'm glad that WWE FINALLY had a WTF moment. Everything has been way too predictable for so long. Remember when Jericho won the Undisputed Championship? Moments like that make the WWE interesting. They could have given it to Rock or Austin and everyone would have been happy. RAW should be great tomorrow as it is always the best after Wrestlemania, although Chicago was pretty great a few weeks ago.

I agree. WTF moments is what makes WWE watchable for me. I for one did not expected Brock beating Taker tonight. I too was one of many with my jaw dropped and WTF? But it was awesome!

But I'm still looking forward to Brock Lesnar beating the Unertaker so badly that he has to retire, thus ending the streak indefinety.

I TOLD YA'LL. hahaha

How could Brock lose, when everyone said wrestling is fake and wrestlers can't fight Brock became the UFC heavy weight champ.
When folks said the Undertaker can't be beat at WrestleMania, Brock ended the streak.
Brock Lesnar will legitamize this company.
Good luck to a B class playa like Bryan at Extreme Rulez.

The Undertaker appeared in the worst shape he's ever been in and put on a slow preformance. Brock probably just became tired of waiting around for taker to try and keep up.

On another note I was hoping Cena would lose, the Sheild match was crap, Sisaro did a hell of a job and will hopefully get a main event push, the Triple H vs Bryan match was the best, looked like Orton landed pretty hard on that monitor, what happened to Hulk? I did'nt see much of him considering he was the host.

Gotta say, I was impressed with the quality of the network during Wrestlemania 30. I feared it losing connection, but watched all 4 hours with very limited drops, just the occasional replay of the last 5 sec.

that was my biggest fear, but I only had some low quality audio drops during the pre-show and that was it, solid stream through the entire 4 hours.

This reaction said it all for the Taker loss....

WWE Network worked flawlessly for me. Never a drop or 5 second repeat. I watched on Roku. Only bad thing was for some reason I didn't get WM30 in HD... it was a bit grainy and pixelated, but a small price to pay for 10 bucks. That was a solid PPV and I definitely got my money's worth.

Very shocked at Taker losing. It was not a botch. It was booked. If you watch again, before Lesnar goes for the 3rd and final F5 I think you can see Taker whispering something. Probably like "F5 again" or "Do it"

Taker was ready to roll out.

Austin-Hogan-Rock was epic. All my childhood and adolescence icons in the same ring at the same time. My wrestling fandom was complete.

yes, I went back 2:53:15-2:53:20 you can see Taker whispering to Lesnar something like "tombstone/gimme F5" or something to that effect (definitely can make out F5).

it definitely paid for the 6 month commitement you have to sign on for and the next ppv will just put it over the top (and I've already watch at least 5 or 6 old ppvs).

The funny thing is that I said the same thing to my friend about the music not playing or anything. I'm not buying into the botched count theory that I saw some people mentioning on Lords of Pain, but it did come off as really odd. Maybe they were selling the shock value, but the aftermath of the match did seem "off" considering that a 23 year streak that started at Wrestlemania VII just ended.

All done for show. All done to add to the gravity of the situation... similar to Nexus' debut attack on Raw with no commentary. It was eerily too realistic.

Have you ever seen a wrestler botch kicking out? The ref always stops at 2.99. If it's not meant to be a 3, his hand won't slap the mat. They just hope the timing isn't off where it's blatant the ref is stopping on his own vs. waiting for the wrestler to kick out.

Nothing was botched. Taker was done and knew he wanted it to end. It was time to step down. His body has really taken a hit in the last 5 years. He can't "go" anymore, and it was hard to see. It was like watching your dad get beat up in front of you. The end of an era.

I would like to see him retire at Survivor Series 2014 though, now that the streak is over.

Versus Sting.

I think Taker was scheduled to win, but he chose to let Brock take it, similar to Andre the Giant and Hulk back in WM3. And like someone else already posted, I noticed that it was a while before the graphic said 21-1, as if they had to edit it before turning it on.

Yes, a legit possibility. Definitely not a botched 3 count, but it could have been a call Taker made as the match went along and he realized it was best for business.

Still say though that the finish was decided beforehand, and only Brock, Taker, Vince and the ref knew. No one else, not even Heyman (and maybe not even HHH and Steph), knew.

Having him lose to Brock Lesnar just makes zero sense to me. If they were going to have someone beat Undertaker at Wrestlemania (which I wish they wouldn't have, there will never be anything like that streak again), it should have been to an up and coming guy who will be around for years. Why give that to a part time guy who will probably be gone in a year? I don't get it.
