Hey guys, I just wanted to share my finds for the weekend. First, I went to my dad's house and we sat around and drank beer and played NES Open and SMB (he is old, that is all he likes to play). I sold (yes sold, I am a horrible person, it was cheap though) him a newly refurbished NES and about 30 games last year and he does not play it very much so he let me pick through the games and keep what I wanted.
When I was on my way home today I stopped at Goodwill and found a PS2 with cables and 2 controllers and 2 X-Box controllers for $30.00. After that, I stopped at Game Exchange and picked up a super minty Bomberman for $6.00 and 2 copies of Pinball for $3.00 each. I bought the Pinball games because I could tell by the weight that they had converters and I had never found a Pinball game with a converter. I thought it was pretty odd that I found 2 in the same place. I already have a good condition Pinball and I do not need a Famicom converter so these will be in my FS/FO thread soon. Here are some pics
I found a few things today, nothing much but at least I found something.
Ren & Stimpy original 1992 TV tray-$0.50, garage sale
The Wizard of OZ SNES complete-$4.00, thrift store
7 GC games & wireless controller-$4.00 for everything, garage sale
Hey everyone, I have not posted my finds on here in a while but today I have something that is very post worthy. As some of you may know, I travel quite a bit with work and this week is no different. I had to work in Little Rock this morning so I headed out early yesterday and hit every Goodwill and game store I could find between OKC and there. I did not have any luck at Goodwill but I did at several game stores.
Every store I went into had a sale. One was 10% off, 1 was 25% off, one was buy 2 get 1 free and 2 were buy 3 get 1 free. I have never really had much luck in the retail shops before but I guess Joel was smiling down on me because I think I did pretty well.
I actually missed 3 stores because they were closed but I will for sure check them out on my next trip. Anyway, enough talking, here is what I found.
I know some of this is kind of shitty but I needed a few of them and I could not pass on the BOGO. Some of you N64 guys give me an estimate on the NFR carts, I don't really keep up with N64 prices and know even less about the NFR carts. When I get a few estimates on the NFR carts I will reveal what I paid for everything.
Update 7/30
I picked up this lot from Craigslist today locally. The ad said Super Nintendo and some games for $100.00 so I called and arranged to go check it out. I asked him what his bottom dollar was and he said I could have it all for $75.00.
some better titles are
Sunset Riders
LTTP
Contra 3
Street Fighter Alpha 2
