I have the Packers winning 20-14. A Seahawks loss to start the season would make me very happy.

Granted this was 11 days ago and I didn't get to watch last weeks game due to work.  Ya'll are dreaming if you think the Seahawks are going down.  Seahawks win 31-17.

I have their kicker on my fantasy team. I think he'll get alot of work in.

That's cool that you can select a punter in your league.

You did mean to say "punter", right?

I can't see too many situations where the Jets will make it into scoring range.

I heard that stat earlier. It's not fully accurate. Their first team did not get flagged in the preseason. I think that changes tonight. Also, the officiating crew for this game threw the most defensive holding and pass interference flags this preseason.

Don't get me wrong, Seattle is a beast of a team. I have them winning the west easily. But I think Green Bay actually matches up well against them. It could be a very close and exciting game.

Well I'm a huge Packers fan and while I'm giddy with excitement, I'm not supremely confident about tonight. I really do hope the refs penalize the Seahawks if/or when they get grabby . About 95% of the Analysts/Media predict Seahawks victory given all the circumstances (SB confidence, strong preseason, Home field etc etc).

I don't think it will be a blowout by any means, but I'm a realist and as long as they don't get blown out I will not be upset. However, I think we have a fighting chance, our 1st string offense looked really good in the preseason and we honestly have the best O-line we've had in forever.

Plus Eddie Lacy, he takes pressure off of Rodgers and Rodgers takes pressure off of him. We have an underrated receiving crew, with some up and comers for sure (Boykin, Adams, Janis). Plus Nelson and Cobb, I'm feeling alright.

I agree with the comment that the short throws will be key, along with our revamped no-huddle offense. Should be a great game .

GO PACK GO!!!

Haha. C'mon now. Surely Chris Johnson and Mike Vick have enough gas to get past midfield at least a few times a game!

Green bay has a drastically underrated receiving crew, I remember during last years draft they were saying WR is a need for  the packers and I constantly scratched my head. Boykin came from out of nowhere last year and dominated with Noodle-arm at QB

You're my kind of Packer fan. You just want a good game. So many people I know are Packer fans, but are not NFL fans. Meaning, they can't just enjoy or appreciate what they are seeing. If the Packers lose, they get upset, let it ruin their day, etc. It's the same people who hold grudges against guys like Jennings who left to play for the Vikings. They don't get the bigger picture.

I thought last year was one of the most fun and exciting years of football that I have seen. The Packers faced so much adversity and challenge and at the end of the year, played some seriously hard football that really meant something. It was wonderful.

Can't wait to have some tasty snacks and watch the NFL season begin!

lol, only messing with ya. I hope Vick can stay on his feet for you guys. I'm an Eagles fan, and every time he started to look decent again, he'd crack a rib.

I hate both teams tonight almost equally. It's a hard choice on who to root for. I guess the Packers if solely for NFC West implications.

Seahawks fan, but I like the Packers, they really did get screwed on that touchdown catch a few years ago.

Seahawks win, close on my score prediction, and won some money in the betting pool tonight. Definitely a good night.

Wow, what a rough game. Felt like watching last years Super Bowl again, just with my favorite team as the opposition. As mentioned previously, I didnt expect to win, but I thought we'd be able to hang better than that. Lacy already has a concussion now and Bulaga is banged up. Injuries adding up, which feels like tradition to the Pack .

I truly feel bad for any team that will play Seattle this year, especially in Seattle. That is one physical team, rightfully comparable to the 85 Bears defense, but with a lethal offense (Wilson/Lynch/Harvin).

Too bad, at least they won't have the excuse that half their team is suspended/in jail.

Hopefully the PEDhawks will all be suited up for that game and not suspended for PED use.

They truly do play dominant. I'm impressed by them. I'm not worried about the Packers yet. They have a lot of talent. But they sure looked like they just rolled out of bed to play that game. Need to shake off those cob webs, and play some run defense.

The primary reason the packers lost this game is penalties. Key penalties at the worst time gave the seahawks points and clock chewing. This game felt very one sided in the flag throwing department. Other than the obvious tackle of randle cobb interference call and a holding call that seemed to actually help seattle late eat more clock i cant even remember the other 2. Packers by rule did commit some penalties but the seahawks seemed like they could do no wrong.

Ha... Typical Quest. Just give the Hawks credit for destroying the Pack. It's ok. Other than the obviously bad pass interference play we committed the only other bad play for the Hawks was Sherman pushing the Packer dude into our punt returner causing a fumble that led to the first Packer TD. Other than that it was a complete rout!

I didnt say that the packers didnt deserve most of their penalties. I said the penalties and timing of them was the reason they lost.

seahawks beat them hands down. I just noted also I really didnt notice the refs every flagging seattle for much of anything. Its just a change from the preseason. seahawks are allowed to do what they want though for the most part because they are "physical"

The main culprit of that was Browner, and he's gone, so i'm sure Seattle will be fine.

I just hope the 49ers flight to Seattle isn't cancelled because someone calls in a bomb threat or something
