Pretty good series so far, I subscribed. Look forward to new episodes! I wish I could get NTSC games consistently at flea markets.

man that guy at the end of vid 4 has lost his mind lol. I normally dont even waste time when i see a pile of games that have been sunfaded to death. Normally they had been picked over pretty hard.

That place looks like it gets hit by other gamers pretty regularly judging by the selection of games at most tables.
Cool vids man keep em coming.

The vids are entertaining but I would caution about your yard sale etiquette. I would search for games before asking. That you walk right up and start asking about games immediately values them to a degree. You don't want to seem that interested, you want people to think the stuff is more or less worthless. You're doing just the opposite, you're telling them this guy really wants these, they must be worth something. Especially when you see the games you get really obviously excited, you would do better to keep it a bit on the subtle side. But you get some cool stuff for sure.

Both garage sale videos i have posted, were videos where I found NO GAMES outside, and if I did not ask they would not have gone into their houses and physically pulled out games. So your example of not asking about games is bad in the example videos I gave.

If there were already games out there for sale, then yes, but there weren't.

If I did not ask I would have gone home with nothing.

Which is fine, but at most of those houses you asked before even looking.

You also got way too excited about what they brought out.

I clicked the link not expecting much, but now it's past midnight where I'm at and I have exams tomorrow. I should be going to bed but there's another 7 parts of your Mexican Flea Market series. :C

These videos are great, please make more of them.

I enjoy hunting much like you. Videos are interesting to watch in the sence of seeing how others hunt. Few things I wanted to point out. Riding your bike up into the middle of a persons driveway during there yardsale (Rude.) Moving the chair to rest your bike against the house even worse. It's good to chat it up a bit but try to stay on course. You are out to buy games not share life stories. To each there own on that one. First. thing to do is greet the person who you never meet before and are planning to rumage through there items. Then do one lap if you see nothing pop the question. It was funny to hear you say you were not going to force them to bring anything out they didn't want to. This was after you nagged on the 2 guys for 5 minutes to bring them out. The fat lady at the garage sale with $5 dollar games that are garbage plow through the stand. She probably found half her stuff at the curb and wants above top dollar. Also she never seeems to want to make a real deal happen so why waste your time. Myself personaly have done the fleas & yardsales for many years. You see a lot of the same faces and you also can begin to read sellers and know what it they are out to do. That being make a killing, make a living, and my favorte get rid of there old crap. These things come with time. I use many practicies that allow for better deals and you will develope your own style. Good unting and good luck doing it. There are so many resellers collector/resellers get chewed out all the time.

Yea dude your asking before you even look. No fun. at least rummage a little then ask. more enjoyable for the watcher plus it will nab you more stuff in the end. Ive been at peoples yard sales, looked around, saw no games, asked for games, they say no i dont have any games. As im leaving i notice some games stashed in a box that i missed and they didnt even know they had. lol.

Half the time people at yard sales dont know what they have and u have to find it for yourself.

Another thing you are going to want to consider...... is sloooooooooow down and stop being so blatant. your telling these people EXACTLY what your looking for. (sega genesis nintendo blah blah) which creates value to them, and all your yard sale by standers are hearing exactly what your looking for. I never do this. Keep it vague man. "hi you happen to have any video game stuff?" "i personally like the older stuff,"  (i try to ask when no one is around too) no need to start naming stuff. this only thickens your competition and gets more and more people looking for it. Trust me i have had this happen to myself, start naming stuff then i see people at my flea buying stuff i was naming that they would never buy before.

Yard sale people are scavengers, looking for ANYTHING to make a buck on. all it takes is for somebody to hear some kid desperately asking someone for nintendo 64 games. They go home, pop up ebay, see ebayers asking $49.99 for mario kart for N64, boom that guy is buying ANY nintendo 64 games he sees and he's in your neighborhood!

Happens everyday. Just slow it down, and be more vague. Ive been doing this for over 10 years im telling ya man, it will only help you in the long run.

EDIT: Watched some more of it, man your like killing these people and look way too obvious. "you have anything like old nintendo, anything!, gameboy! anything" i wont be back here, anything at all!" lol

Dude if they did have anything else they wouldnt sell it to you because your smothering them man. slooow down, back off, etc. lol. I understand you gotta pry a little, but just not soo much, cause when you pry too much people tense up and just want you gone.

Your videos wont please everyone, but they are entertaining and i like them, just trying to help you at all, help ya make better vids, and help you find more gaming goodness. good luck.

I don't understand why anyone would sell anything at their garage sale for a dollar... The freaking Sun Juice thing he bought was $0.50 and that girl was definitely flipping those.

I am searching for the following SNES manuals:
- Sunset Riders    - TMNT IV: Turtles in Time      - Total Carnage
- Utopia                 - Final Fantasy II
Please PM me if you have one or all of them for sale. While I like nice condition, I am interested in anything 7/10ish up.

For those of you saying I should rummage more before I ask, for the videos sake I can see how that might be more interesting and I might try and do it a bit more, but the entire garage sale thing is a really time sensitive thing so I'm always in a hurry.

I could make an entire video of people telling me what they sold just before I arrived. It's pretty much 8AM-11AM that you can do this because of competition from other people. In my experience if you arrive after 11AM you won't find anything because all of the good stuff has been purchased already.

Well prying on them right away takes way more time then looping around, asking them once, and then splitting. You can tell the people were not giving into you. Apperance is a big thing. Don't show up in a suit but same rate long hair a bike and hat cam may be a bit much. Then jumping off your bike running up to them asking for games is ruff. Later it gets yes it becomes harder to find the great things. If you had knowledge on other things you could be looking for multilpe items. This way you strike out on game you have something to fall back on. Had seen a few things worth a good deal of money you just blew by. Just some things for thought maybe.
