Haha yeah...don't worry there will be a picture for the next score update. I just got this score and didn't want to leave my NES on, and then got busy with other things.
 

I never have liked the adventure island series.

I like the charm. But not playing the game.

It's funny how the coconut hits him in the head during the intro  

This game is one that seems to have torn up labels much more often than not, and I have no idea why!

I used to have one similar to this but I was able to upgrade cheaply to a much nicer copy.   
 

What exactly are you saving those Bubble Bobble dinos for? I get the hatchets but those damn dinos do more damage than good. Also the secret areas are damn glitchy, sometimes I get them and other ill throw 100s of hatchets and not get them!
 

Saving them for later levels, I hardly even die once until world 4 or so.

For the bonus levels you have to jump on the area of the hidden egg, not throw things at it.

I totally sucked at this game when I tried it a few times on the emulator. Best I did was around 30k and didn't complete the first world. The game probably isn't bad with some practice, but I might spend the week focusing on beating Battletoads.

This game really tests your reaction time and your platforming skills which is why it is really fun.

In the later stages it almost forces you to do a perfect speed run without stopping as your health runs out quicker later in the game or there is not as many health drops.

As soon you lose your items on the later levels consider it game over, some levels won't even contain items/monsters either so you might have to beat almost 2 levels just to get your weapon back.
 

Does anyone know what triggers the 2000 bonus when you finish the level with only Higgins (no Dino)? It seems like it doesn't trigger every time. If you could get it to trigger every time, that would be a good argument towards not using the Dino's, though you would miss out on the flower points, rock destroying points, and just have a harder and riskier time completing the levels in general.

Yeah at the end of the level. But as I said only when you finish with only Higgins.

If I recall correctly you also get a bonus for finishing the level with the skateboard, essentially the board disappears and turns into points, not returning to your inventory.

Also another thing: if anyone is wondering why they are getting differing level orders it is dependant on which egg you pick at the end of the level. So it pays to pick the same egg combination each run, since the egg bonuses seem to be random anyway.

Also should add that I often get the end level Higgins bonus when I jump at the end. Maybe the right timing triggers it?

This game works in mysterious ways, and like Toxie who says he/she works 40 hours a week, I don't believe it! There is a system for this game and Toxie will most likely figure it out working "40 hours a week"😂😂😂

Youre probably right. But still doesn't work with the Dino's.
 

Hmmmmmmm I will piss around with it tonight to and see if I can come to any conclusions.
 

Only reason I say that is e cause I always finish the first level with full health and the blue Dino, and I never get the bonus.
