I only made it to the stage 8 boss (dual skateboarders). I was able to beat them on my last run, but I ran out of time and died at the same time! I found this to be a quirky game and pretty fun, actually. You got a pretty good score!

Thanks. Stage 8 is a breeze compared to later stages.

The dual skaterboarders can be a pain sometimes. I like to have them both lined up and keep kicking them against the wall.

I don't think they would be too hard to beat with enough time to move forward. I didn't put a lot of time into the game this week. What time I did spend was largely enjoyable. Except for the break dancers. Those guys can ____ a ____.

The game would be ten times easier without the breakdancers. Worst enemies in a beat em up that I've played this year.

Haha, it had to be last minute.  I didn't start playing until the weekend and that particular score I didn't get until about 15 minutes before I posted it.  I'm a bit disappointed with it though.  I set myself a goal of breaking 110,000.  I came pretty close a couple times, but messed up on the last stage.  It probably would have been helpful if I read this thread yesterday too.  I didn't realize the bombs were worth so many points.  I usually just ran away from them.

I am disappointed with my own score as well, but I just couldn't improve it yesterday. After I posted that one, I got some serious migraines and gaming just wouldn't have happened.
I wish I could have posted a 109K+ score so you would have been pushed to post a 110K score.  

 

1st and 2nd place disappointment, waah waah waah!

I couldn't break 100K without dying. Of course I am disappointed.  

But alas, at least my evil plans of evilness are in motion and the poor target will be hit before the week ends.
 

The stupid breakdancers killed my chances of a top three score this week. I do want to beat this game at some point. I've reached the last stage.

My runs were basically strictly for progress, so assuming I could beat the last level or two, it seems a base clear would give 65,000 or so is my guess

Wow, looking over what NES games Beam Software developed other than Bad Street Brawler, their track record isn't looking too good, as they had developed NES games such as Airwolf, Back to the Future, Back to the Future II & III, and Rocket Ranger. Their only decent title might be Nightshade.

Well, I managed to exceed 110,000 today.  I think I could break 120,000 without too much trouble.  I'm getting kinda tired of the game though.  Maybe I'll give it one more shot tomorrow.
