Our contestants must before this week they will be tackling IKARI WARRIORS III!
Who will come up on top, being the very prevailer the protect right and justice?

The rules for this squirmish are below:

• 1 player only
• Play until Game Over
• Take your picture when you get the option to continue your game
• If you beat the final boss, make sure to hit select as soon as the final boss goes down cause you won't have another chance to take a picture of your score.
• Highest score wins
• GENRE: Beat ‘Em Up

The contest ends Sunday, 08/11/19 at 11 PM NA time.  Your user name MUST be written or typed on a piece of paper and be in the picture for your score to be valid.  The entire TV screen, or computer monitor if you are playing on an emulator, MUST be in the picture for the score to be valid.  No partial screenshots will be considered or accepted.  No screenshots by hitting "print screen" on a computer will be allowed.  You must take a picture of your computer monitor.  There may be instances where this will be acceptable, but it will be at the discretion of myself and the contest organizers.  Also, the use of turbo controllers is forbidden, as well as any cheat codes, Game Genies, slow motion functions, or save states if playing on an emulator.  Also, we will only be using NTSC systems for the contests.  The use of PAL systems will NOT be allowed.

Yeah, you're right. Easy to beat with unlimited continues. Without continues probably not so much.

It is the easiest of all Ikari Warrior games on the NES.
Pretty easy, I would say, specially if you aren't trying to no death it.
I am quite sure everyone here will 1CC it by next Sunday.

So it seems i owe you an apology Mbd.. This game, is relatively easy even with the abundant one hit deaths. Side note, you better be real quick hitting select at death of end boss.

I tried a few times and reached level 2. The one hit deaths are annoying.

The game really reminds me of a top down POW, but not nearly as good as POW. Both by the same company.
 

There are plenty of health refills as well. It's like an apology for how hard the first two in the series are.

Yes. Agreed. Plenty of health and extra lives, and there's only like 6 levels. They better apologize after that 2nd one. Yuckkk.

This game also reminds me allot of guerrilla war also snk.  Truthfully was thinking that Was this game at beginning of week.   They sure loved their war games

Vertical space shooter. Might be an acquired taste. 

The sound of this game is very similar to crystalis. I always liked crystalis.
