There isn't much progress to be made. The replacement adapters just need to be made.
The "green strip" thing is the result of the connector being too shallow so no amount of firmware updates will fix it. Brian is working on drop in replacements for daughterboard that houses the NES connector.

In the meantime, feel free to use a Game Genie or Famicom adapter as a pass through device to play these games.

Has there been any official time table or announcement with the respect to release of a replacement pin connector to combat the "green strip"? I don't see anything on the official website or this one?

Not yet. I can actually get my green strip Tetris to work.

I'm more interested in the USB brace.

so, if one were to order an AVS, will the USB brace be installed on any that are shipped out? I'm assuming that the wait is for people who bought it before the fix correct?

Any of them ordered sometime in like the last month (I cannot remember the date but bunny boy put it in a prior post) have reinforced USB ports when shipped.

Yeah, recent AVSeseseses should have the fix, with two screws holding down the USB port. Early shipped AVSi are supposed to get a 3D printed brace.

I preordered on day one (but it got delayed due to the "launch titles") and mine came with the little screws supporting the USB port. I'm sure you'll be fine.

My USB port is still holding strong like many others, and bunny boy is there to fix it if it breaks. It really isn't worth worrying about.

Is there any scuttlebutt on the status of the wireless controllers? I've been using an 8bitdo adapter but it's just not doing it for me.

What slightly revised hardware? The only potential future revisions I am aware of are fixes to the USB supply port and a deeper NES cart slot.

Since it is powered entirely by FPGA, any changes to hardware function can be incorporated into firmware updates.

What are the pallette number values? No like the numerical values. Seriously what are the values.

That kind of deja vu?

BTW incase anyone missed it... now is the time to order your AVS. I saw on FB the current stock is expected to sell out in the next 2-3 weeks and a restock won't happen until March 2017 or later.
