Hey everyone.  This week's game is going to be Mendel Palace.  Here are the rules:

  • 1 life only
  • 1 player only
  • Play the stages in any order
  • No point racking
  • Participation: 50,000

The contest ends Sunday, 6/5/11 at 10 PM NA time.  Your user name must be in the picture for your score to be valid.  The entire TV screen, or computer monitor if you are playing on an emulator, MUST be in the picture for the score to be valid.  No partial screenshots will be considered or accepted.  Good luck everyone and have fun!

Added a no point racking rule, as I came to a spot in the level with the fat guys where you could do a lot of point racking.

My NES gave out on me while attempting the Robocop 2 on Sunday =(. I don't own this one so I'll try to work something out on my comp. Anyone know of a good emulator for Mac.

I was able to increase my score by about 120,000 after a few more trys at it. Very fun game.

@ xerxes That picture you provided won't get you participation points. Your username has to visible in the picture and you have to BOLD your score to make it easier for the contest leader to read.

I edited the original post to bold the score; my user name is written on a card in the lower right hand corner. I know it is hard to read, but I could not the note card to light up with no flash.

And that's nothing, I was aiming at something like 1,500,000ish at first, but it's so damn hard to not lose a life here and there stupidly.

Good game to develop a headache.
