Really hate that fish in 3-3, gobbles me up every time I've played this. Looked back and my score this year is better than the last SMB3 contest I entered so I gues I wasn't too rusty jumping back in.

This was my final run, made last night. I really anticipated hitting 1,000,000 and truly believe I can get there. I had lots of adulting to do today, so this is my final score. While my point pressing skills definitely improved this week, my progression suffered during my run last night. Each death was earlier and earlier in World 3 (and each death was also additionally moronic!). I enjoyed kicking off the contests with SMB3 again. GG's all. On to the next one!

I'll be spectating until June probably. I got real life bullshit to deal with right now.

Bummed I missed it dudes, but I was out! My average score was about 500,000 by world 6 or 7; nowhere near as good as some of you in here, lol. I'm still playing this one regardless!

Super bummed I didn't get a chance to play over the weekend. Been super busy with the family, and spent all yesterday rearranging my gaming room. Wound up dropping a 200 lb. tv down a flight of stairs(taking me with it) and messing my hand up. Amazingly enough, the tv works! Just has a few large gashes in the glass screen. Count me in for sure this week.

I am glad you weren't seriously injuried by this.

 

Yeah, it could've gone WAY worse. Just skinned my knuckles, got a bump on my eyebrow and a knee scrape. A friend was helping me try to carry it from below, and only got a scrape on his shin. I managed to grab the power cable at the last second and kept it from full on landing on him.

It was completely my fault. That thing is a monster, one of those gigantic old tube tv's that weigh more than a person(or two). I should've waited and got a dolly/handtruck to lower it down the stairs, but I had just finished hooking up all my systems and was eager to get the tv in there. 

Wow!  I have to admit, your description of this filled me with both terror and laughter.  Seemed like a true looney tunes-esque moment.  Glad you're ok and those old TVs certainly have a high constitution!

 

For reals! Thanks for the concern guys   Despite the big scratches in the glass, it still has an overall nice look. So, expect my score submissions on a WTF-looking tv for the next few weeks at least.
