I grew up on this era of music and enjoy it. However, I have never been a fan of Jane's Addiction. Just like Pearl Jam, I understand why there is a following, but I hate the vocals.

Jane's Addiction!?

Anyways Alice in Chains are ok, if somebody at a party puts a playlist I wouldn't complain, but I'm not fond of their style so this is a 5 for me.

I was looking forward to give a suggestion but next week looks like it's going to be metal so that will have to wait.

I'm assuming that is just a typo since I couldn't see anyone comparing Perry and Eddie, whereas Eddie and Layne/Jerry at least kind of make sense

Then again I could much easier understand hating Perry's vocals, so I dunno, maybe you did get them mixed up

Go ahead and give it anyways.  I have a rough plan but have still overlooked some things that I later realized would make good entries (NKotB was a late add for one)

Maybe Perry's vocals in Porno for Pyros, but definitely not Jane's Addiction.

Vote for Gojira for next week, god damn it. They're awesome, I promise.

Took 40 votes to get the 0 that time. Someone who digs Nightwish.

I clicked 0 with my fat fingers on my phone! Totally meant to vote 9/10! Back in my day of being in a rock cover band, we did a few AiC songs, some of my favorites to play!

Totally disregard that 0!

Thanks, I'll manually track that.

Which means AiC remains the only thread to be zero-less... so far. Knock on wood.

Alright cool! Seems we haven't had nothing really unconventional so my suggestion fits the bill, the band is called Drab Majesty, I would describe their sound as synthwave, 80s revivalist style in a darker tone, I was not a fan since their earlier work was a bit too dark for my taste but in their new record called Modern Mirror (out just a month and a half ago) has tons of great pop hooks and feels really uplift despite the overall kind of darkish atmosphere and now I'm sold. By the way overall their whole act seems to be very tongue-in-cheek, I mean just thinking about their name, I imagine they must be laughing their asses off trying to be "majestically drab". Here's a song so you can check them out:

haven't voted in one of these in a while, but a total 9 for me. Love them, and have since I was in Junior High.

LOL, oops! I was up all night with my daughter who is sick. Yep, that was a mistake.

Can my 2 be changed to a 7? AiC is a very solid band. It’s not my favorite of the 90s but definitely a good listen.

Stuck between 8 and 9. Went with 8 based on the descriptions, but AiC is a great, solid grunge era group.

Also, Five Finger Death Punch next week, so I can give them the 0 they deserve.
