I know this probably is a silly idea but given how many old games had both passwords or cheat codes maybe a database of them on the site would help folks? Actually one for tips and tricks too wouldn't hurt, there's so many good ones out there in the long lost volumes of gaming magazines it's a shame to let them fade away.

Don't really need them when games have easy modes that practically auto beat the game for you.

sure, but I was talking more about the fun, stupid ones like in Tony Hawks pro skater. Big head mode, disco mode, moon gravity, etc. Just stuff to fuck around with

Great idea wesr. If you have some tips and tricks, passwords, cheats and any other info you have to share you could always create a topic for a game in Gamer Gauntlet.

Some games in the database also have helpful info. If you talk to the right folks around here, they might be able to add your info.

I'll see what I can do. I got some vintage nintendo power stuff I should be able to look up and I actually have 2 or 3 original game genie books. I've been meaning to make a spreadsheet. I wish i still had my nintendo powers and gamepro. I'll have to raid the youtube copies of gamepro tv.

I'll take any help i can get. I can build a database and go from there. I have some newer NP issues. It'll give me something to do on vacation in a few weeks.

Like a code database? That would be cool. No need for GameFAQS at all then.
