That's exactly what happened to me. I REALLY didn't want to get a full set but once I got DK and Samus it was game over. Anyway, the rest of what I said still stands about collecting them. Some times I feel like I should just sell off the whole lot and forget about them. 

As for the WoN merch I ignore the plushies and all the Mario Kart stuff. I only collect the packaged figures at this point. I had to laugh when I was Costco last month and saw this. Not sure if you would consider it part of the WoN line. 

No, not the plushies! Can a grown man have his cake and eat it too? Collection photo predates Amiibo...


As for the Mario Kart, I'm 5'11" 275 lbs so I would probably break it if I tried to ride. Also where would my legs go?

The plushies are expensive and I don't have anywhere to store them. Having said that I do have a Mario and Luigi plushie. I'm digging the blooper and Bowser Jr. ones you have. Quite the collection.

Same as above, I don't collect the plushies or the MK stuff. It took awhile before I even collected the mini figures. It would be great if the stores local to me would stock these things besides series 1-1.

So I got the email from Amazon.ca stating the gold amiibo was available for preorder (the email came in the middle of the night as well). I click the link and they were already sold out.

This all happens on April Fools... which sums up trying to hunt these thing down quite nicely I think.

Ugh wave 4 slapped me hard today. Managed to preorder Ness, Pac man, Charizard, and the Splatoon ones. Gamestop really screwed me.

Why wouldn't you at least wait until they are released before paying the international shipping?

I got Rosalina last time with shipping from the UK cheaper than buying her from Target in the US with shipping. Mostly this is for Jiggly and Greninja. I'd rather support a scalper than Target and Toysrus at this point.

Surprisingly, some sellers in Japan offer either really cheap shipping, or it is free. I even thought about ordering a second Toad from Japan to open up and use with the Treasure Tracker game, but managed to get it online at Best Buy. Only one I have wanted to open so far. Maybe if Nintendo starts giving them better use, we'd be more inclined to free them from their bubbles.

It was from Game UK. They were doing a promotion. Even without it still the second cheapest option. They don't have any Wave 4 characters though
