I have listed 5 now. I have 16 though. Not looking for Mario money but people need to be fair with value with no data.

On that Mario sticker I saw that it was a gloss sticker but did look suspect and their description says first print which is matte so I emailed the seller asking if it's gloss or matte just to see if they had any knowledge and they said it's a matte with NINTENDO in silver on the label which to me adds evidence something is rotten in Denmark. I wouldn't buy a sticker seal unless it's GRADED by WATA period

I wonder if someone can take a lesser valuable "non-sticker" "No code" Mario....get a PAL sticker and throw it on there instantly turning it into a 5-figure box. The box is the ONLY thing that seems to play ANY factor because that's a mismatch cart, and I'm about 50/50 that it's a mismatch manual too...I don't have the manuals documented all that well since its too hard to scan them all online.
I'm just curious how the cart is mismatched, I have a sticker Mario matte I want to make sure it's the right cart

Front of the cartridge should not have a TM after the Mario logo

Also, the board should have chips that ALL predate or closely match week 42/43 of 1985....if it's a matte sticker.

Got any of these for sale? Sell them to me. I also buy other NES Publisher inserts, and even GB/GBC, and SNES inserts too.

Interesting to see the first major glut of supply chase demand. Interesting to see where prices settle after this.

I actually think supply will stay strong for awhile now if for no other reason than the massive delays at WATA.  Eventually people will be getting their games back and crossovers regraded and we'll Some portion of those offered out.

It's one thing to see a solitary minty Mario sticker seal and drool, but quite a different feeling when you see several and realize this isn't a one of one.

If it's real, I don't think it is at all. Nothing matches and that sticker looks jacked

The fakes certainly will come, interesting the top side isnt pictured. Curious to see the residue there.

People wouldn't buy Sonic US version on Master System because it was just a UPC sticker that "could be faked". But people spending 5 figures on a CIB because of a sticker? Yeah this will end well.

It's a no-code, so it's almost certainly legit. But that's 100% gloss, not matte, so it's second print. Absolutely gorgeous copy, though. There aren't a lot you're going to see like that.

There really have not been a lot of qualified sticker Marios on Ebay or anything like that. I've seen 2 since January, and one (a gloss) sold for $12,500. The other was a matte Mario 85+ Q that sold for like $1500 in February. Good buy, Whomever!

I do suspect we'll see people rushing to sell theirs now with the prices, but there really aren't enough of these to survive for a long time, so if prices slow now after this rush, I suspect they'll rise again with time, especially as more people get into high-end collecting and demand outpaces supply.

Comic guys like 1st prints.
A mid or lower grade 1st print TMNT comic is more valuable and desirable than a mint 6th print.

I agree they were undervalued however defining the hobby?  This wave of new collectors identified a gap for which I give them credit for as these are available(hard to find but they are/were around)  Rarity hasn’t hit the public market except for a few sealed ht’s, nwc, stadium events etc.   Also, this is what is available now so markets are forming around this but as sales rise more of these cibs are becoming available vs. rare sealed games and other like items that are less available

Do you think rarity will ever actually matter to the new wave of collectors?

I just can't see someone jumping from comics, toys, and coins and going into a bidding war over a mint CIB Color A Dinosaur, Chubby Cherub, and Sqoon.

However, I do see something like Dino Peak, and even maybe even Jetsons overtaking something like Samson in price.

Time will tell- I have my sealed games as chips on the table how about you? 🧐
